Number and type of points that can be awarded is tied to a member's user level. Generally, the higher the user level, the more points related options the member has. All points authorities have a special link in their menu to award points which will open a special form with all the option they have (general points, class points, team points, etc.)
All submitted points are verified by the HOL Headoffice before they become effective and visible for the student. All point submissions must have a description added, which make them clearly identifiable to the student and the professor who verifies these submissions (to avoid doubles etc). Class-related points will be awarded whenever the professor has graded homework/exams etc.
As soon as a student receives new points awards, they will find an entry in their personal logs.
