Re: A Student by any other name....

The reason I picked my HOL name is because it matches my RL initials. I wasn't even thinking of Kendra Dumbledore when I picked Kendra, so the intention has not inherently to do with the HP universe. I just wanted a more fanciful K name (actually thought of the name because of a former teacher). Giv...

Re: Instrument Practice

If I'm honest with myself, I still don't practice as much as I should. Especially now that we're not having any Wind Symphony performances this year, I don't feel the drive to. BUT, when I do practice, I find that having a specific location helps. I have a corner in our spare bedroom with a stand an...

Re: In Memory of Polaris Black

Polaris was a huge part of shaping who I am as a member of HOL. She trained me to not only be a decent Prefect, but then showed me the ropes of being a Head Prefect. I learned a lot from her and will miss our interactions. She surely made a huge impact on this community and those who were close to h...

I'm going to send 52 beans to Miss Charlie Spencer for firstly being an amazing human being, but more specifically for taking the time to message me to check on my personal sanity after returning to work in the education realm. I appreciate you!!

My pamphlet is a trifold about kneazles. I describe what a kneazle is, how to tame one if it gets aggressive toward someone, what they eat, how to care for their health, and how someone can qualify to own one.

Re: Slug & Jiggers Apothecary - Potion Packs

The ' You've Got This ' Potion Pack This potion pack contains both Felix Felicis and the *new* No Sweat potion. The intention of this potion pack is to allow the consumer to both look and feel more confident when they're very nervous. About to give a speech in front of a large crowd? Do you also hat...

Re: Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions - Customers

I approached the young man, and he introduced himself as Zachary, but asked me to call him Zach. He is looking for a new business casual outfit for an upcoming job interview. I suggest that he buy a black pair of dress slacks with a sapphire blue dress shirt and a blue/black/silver striped tie. I fo...

https://i.postimg.cc/YSmsc8hy/icecream2.png My umbrella design features panels with a graphic of colorful ice cream cones alternating with panels that are a bright fuschia color. The ice cream design represents what Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour is, and the bright fuschia color is fun, summ...

Re: Book Bout - Settings for Books

I've spent a lot of time lately comparing where I grew up to where I live now. Where I grew up was largely corporate - my town was home to one of the largest shopping malls in the country and was sprawling with businesses, roads, homes, and people. The town I moved to is further out west. My neighbo...

Re: Book Bout - Books as Travel Companions

I haven't been on any trips in quite a while, but I do have good memories of reading while traveling. I can't read in the car without getting a massive headache (I think from the motion sickness of things constantly passing by) BUT I used to love reading on the plane when traveling to far away place...
