HELP!!!

I'm so frazzled! I was preparing for the snitch game I have tonight versus Arianna, so I went to find Will. I knew he would be on the Quidditch pitch, so I went there and all I could find was a puzzle piece laying amongst all of those quods!! So then I ran to the HOLLERs office looking for Arianna t...

Happy Birthday, Sky Alton!!

https://i.postimg.cc/V6tx4PmM/birthday2.png Image has 'happy birthday' written in the center in thick, white, curly font toward the top. The center of the image is red, fading into purple along the edges. There are red/pink/white sparkles toward the top, and toward the bottom are 6 white fireworks ...

Coffee Shop Orders

In conversation today, people started talking about cookies and chai lattes and it made me wish I was instantly in a cafe or coffee shop to order some for myself. Then we started talking about our favorite cookies and everyone was hungry! If you were at the coffee shop yourself, what would you order...

Re: Security Update

I say either travel in pairs/groups or have a very, very loud rock band that no one can be around for very long without going insane.

Or both, why not both?

Re: Volunteer List

I would like to help! Other than having a background in Forensics and Psychology...I play flute! I can provide the musical entertainment for the group and/or lure our suspect out of hiding with some catchy tunes. OR I could make it sound really awful so that DaKeed has to come out and tell me shut u...

Re: Muggle Technology

As I sit here staring at my TV and the THREE remotes I have in order to use the thing effectively, I realize this would all be so much easier if I could just use magic. Instead of having to have one remote to work the actual television set, one remote to work the sound, and ANOTHER remote to work th...

Re: Reading Music

I can read music! I've played flute for most of my life (few breaks in years, so I'm not considering myself that great). I'm not necessarily good at sight reading though. Meaning the first time I look at something, I can't hear it in my head or sing it very well. I typically take the sheet music and...

Re: How Many Books Do You Read Per Year

I've tried to make it a goal recently to read more, because I got SUPER lazy with it. Honestly, the only thing I've accomplished this year so far is re-reading most of the Harry Potter series (second time through). I just started Book 7 again. I have a million screenshots on my phone of books I want...

Re: Which Disney Animated Film Is The Best?

Ultimately, like many others have said, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin are classically my favorite. However, looking at this post made me go turn on The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It's all about acceptance of people's differences and offering fairness and opportunity to everyone. I love that it has ...

Re: Gaming Environments

If I'm board gaming, it's usually at somebody's house with just a few people there hanging out. I like it to be relaxed, maybe some music in the background and some snacks involved. Since we recently moved, I discovered that there's a store nearby that does strategy game nights, so I've considered g...

Re: New Hunger Games Prequel

I read an article with a quote from Suzanne Collins saying she wants to write the book with the intent of 'the state of nature, who we are, and what we perceive as required for survival.' That makes me think that this is going to be a very existential tone, rather than the largely ethical reflection...

Let's Talk Cereal

As I poured my bowl of cereal this morning (Cinnamon Toast Crunch), I was intently thinking about the fact that I did not want it to sit long enough to get soggy and how I wished we had whole milk instead of 2% for me to use with it. Cereal preferences are such a particular thing - what are your pre...
