Obviously Harry Potter is high on my list of favorite book series, but I think right now the Shadow and Bones series has really drawn me in. The books are way better then the series that was on Netflix.

My favourite book series is Ranger's Apprentice! It actually took me a while to get into, as the introduction to the first book didn't really hook me. I picked up the tenth book while bored on a holiday and that's when I ended up falling in love with the series. It's a perfect blend of sass, character development, and adventure. I can't recommend it enough - and my advice is to just push past the initial part of the first book. It unfortunately doesn't do the rest of the series justice though it does give a great foundation for the later character development.

My favorite book series is of course Harry Potter, but I also REALLY love the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson :D
I have also read other series by Brandon Sanderson, but my favorite is the Stormlight Archive.

Other than literally the Harry Potter book series, I love Once Upon a Broken Heart by Steohanie Garber! It's such a good book and I don't have a lot of ppl to talk about it with :(

I think Harry Potter will always be my favorite series because of the space it holds in my heart. Hogwarts will always be my home and nothing will compare to being able to endlessly play in the universe of HP.

But some of my other favorite series include Percy Jackson because I absolutely love Greek mythology. The entire Grisha Verse because I think it's a very interesting take on magic, especially compared to Harry Potter.

Besides the obvious, I think my favorite book series is either Fourth Wing or Throne of Glass! I love adventure books with a strong female main character. Violet and Aelin have my heart <3

The list is never-ending, but my top couple right now would have to be Nocturne Falls and The Apothecary Diaries. I've been rereading them a lot recently!

In the most nostalgic tone I could possibly muster, Dork Diaries.

As a pre-teen, those books were my everything. As a particularly weird, artistic and not-so-popular girl myself when I started high school, the main character, Nikki, spoke to me on so many levels. Here is a character overview I found on Wikipedia:

Nikki is the main character of the series. She is a 14-year-old girl who initially transfers to Westchester Country Day, a private school she can only afford because of a scholarship. She lives with a family she considers weird (namely her father, an exterminator who drives around a van that has a giant cockroach on top of it), and is bullied by Mackenzie and the CCPs (Cute, Cool, & Popular clique). She enjoys art and sketching and has a flair for it. She has two best friends, Chloe Garcia and Zoeysha "Zoey" Franklin, and shows interest in Brandon Roberts, a fellow student who loves animals and photography. She is popularly depicted in colorized adaptions with green eyes and brown hair, usually in pigtails, and is left-handed.

For any young girl thinking she maybe doesn't fit the mould, and maybe never will (which is totally okay, if not better, than fitting in), these books really shine a light on both sides of the story. There's always a positive to outshine the negative.

I really enjoyed the Shadowhunters book series but I definitely have a soft spot for the Goosebumps books, the original series. ;) This is evolving all the time as I'm currently reading through the Worst Witch books.

I absolutely loved the Throne of Glass series. Surprisingly, I didn't really enjoy the ACOTAR series. I felt that the characters were written very shallow and predictable. Throne of Glass, you had unpredictable characters that I found to be more relatable. You should check it out if you haven't!

I love the Before The Coffee Gets Cold series! It's a tale of tales, telling the stories of different people who wish to go to the some time in the past or the future, which is done by sitting in a specific seat in an underground cafe. The most important rule is to go back to the present before the coffee gets cold. It's cozy and warm while still delivering a deep message and serving as a reminder of the time we cannot go back to or jump to, and to remember the people or things we might not be appreciating enough before the chance to do so slips away. I believe a new book in the series will be released in 2026!

Harry Potter is definitely my number one favorite! There is just something so magical about it and it truly feels like home! The castle, the creatures, the adventures, everything deserves a chefs kiss!
