The story is about Mr. Cheeseman and his children. They were running away from the government agents and other people that were chasing them. They had the LVR that time traveled. Everyone wanted to get their hands on it before anyone else did. The Cheeseman family had to move around a lot, hardly staying in one place for a week.

I disliked that there is a sock puppet in the story. I liked that the dog can tell when there are bad people around.
