My name is pretty simple.
Dan-like Pan which is also like Ran. For those who don't know. Yell-like one would talk about hollering. So it's spelt like Daniel but it is more pronounced Danielle. Except the Y has more of an accent. It's kind of complicated but I like it.
Knight. Like Night. I picked that because it's my favorite piece in Chess.
Middle name is Xavior. Like the guy in the wheelchair on X-men. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> But you don't really need to know that. I just chose it because X is pretty much the least used letter in the English language when it comes to first letters.
Anyway, there you have it. Daniel X. Knight. Or Daniel Knight. As I'm known here at HOL. Though I'm not very known...seeing as how I'm new and all. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Very instructive topic! See, as I'm French, I'm kind of used to having my RL name mispronounced all the time, but then, my HOL name's not that hard:
Abigail : "Abi" sounds like "tabby", and "gail", well, like "gayle" I guess
Lullaby : well I guess it's pretty plain and simple... like a lullaby...
The nickname would be Abby /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> pretty straightforward, right?? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Yes I know I should have posted here ages ago, but ok...
For the ones that have troubles figuring out how my name sounds:
Gui : Like the sound of the "wi" in Winnie Pooh (LOL's couldn't think of something better)
Ne: Like the sound of the "ne" in Neville
vere: Like "beer"
And my last name is really simple "Moon" just as it is...

My Name is kind of hard. It's pronounced:
Ay- like "aye"
ah- like "uh"
zy- like zee
Nah- like "nuh"
ki- like "key"
So all together, Aye-uh-zee Nuh-key
It's not really that hard once you know how, but other people keep coming up with these crazy variations.
