My complete witch name is Miralda Theydia Evans. Alphabets for that name is a combination of my Muggle name except L and V. Without these 2 caps, my HOL name would be odd. My Evans is not connected to Lily Evans, I just like it...

My name is Kayla Marlow. Kayla, Im sure where I got that name, though I believe I was originally considering Kiley, or something like that. Or did I get the name from my star wars character? who knows. And Marlow, well I was originally thinking of the first ghost from a christmas carol, whose name was as i know remember, Jacob marley. So my name was originally based off his, but I thought his name was Marlow. oh well. Though the name Marley does sound somewhat familiar...
Hello, you have reached Kayla Marlow, If I'm not here, I am teaching dinosaurs ballet. goodbye.

I chose Ellie because it's one of my nicknames. Short for Ellen.
And Lovegood because I'm a lot like Luna. I can be quite weird sometimes.

My name Vincent, is (the only) alternate form (I can think) for my real name.
And Rosenkreuz, I heard it from a game, and I thought I like it. In the end, it means 'rosy cross'. And it really suits me, because my favourite flower is rose, and I like crosses (accessories).
Actually both of my names has a lot of deep meaning, but it would take too long to explain everything here.

Sarah is my first name in actuality. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Why not keep it? Aria for beautiful melody in latin, I do so love music.
Pishon, is one of the three rivers in the Bible, associated with Eden, as far as I can remember.
Just a couple of interesting things I decided to meld together. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

My name is Gertrudis Leheureux. I live in spain and chose the spanish form of Gertrude which means "strong spear". I like to think of myself as someone that you can depend upon, loyal, true, a real Girl Guide or a golden labrador. In fact if I were a dog, I'd most definitely be a golden lab.
I also love the possible nicknames Gert, Gertie. If I say either of them 10 times sort of fast I end up laughing which is where the second name came from. It is actually a real last name on my mother's side (french canadian). I didn't know if the HOL computer would accept an apostrophe in L'heureux so I added the "e" just in case, ergo Leheureux, i.e., The happy one.
If I had a coat of arms it would include crossed spears with jester hats tagged with bells. The latin phrase on the bottom would be something like "Do it with a Sense of Humour".
I actually did meet a Gertrudis when I was on a trip to the canyons of Baja California (Mexico) to look at indian rock engravings. The day before we left from the village jump-off point in the San Francisco mountains, Gertrudis the 12-year-old daughter of our guide made sweetened bean popovers (empanadas) from scratch. Every boy in the village oversaw the procedure. The beans were cooked in clay crockery outdoors on an wood-burning cast-iron stove in the shade of a cornstalk lean-to. She then mashed them on a corn-grinding stone. The pastry was mixed with her hands on a board. No sooner did Gertrudis pull out the empanadas baked on a clay tile in a bee-hive shaped oven, the village boys made them disappear... poof! and there was not a one left for Gertrudis.
I asked her if she was sorry they hadn't left her even one. And she told me: "No. It's easy to make them happy and for me to make more." It's an honour to share the name of such a charming creature.

I have this obsession tendency to make names that has 'C.C.' as initials.. and I had this character by the name Corentin Calais, but Corentin itself is a male name,
then considering using Crucifien, but decided against since it has obvious religious undertones..
both of them combined into Corfien, even close enough to another signature character of mine without sounding too gender-obvious.
.. and Calais is actually a city in Northern France.

I made my HOL name from anagram of my real name. If you don't know about anagram, it works by randomize the alphabet of your name to make another name. The idea came to me when I watch the movie Chamber of Secret, when Harry and Tom and Ginny was inside the chamber. Tom told Harry that he change his real name because he hates his father and refuse to use his family name. So he change his name using anagram from
TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE = I AM LORD VOLDEMORT
My HOL name came from my real name
cool huh ? /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Well, How did I got my Hol name is really an accident I think.
My name is Allura Narawiel...
My first name, Allura, was picked from an article at the snack that I was eating when I registered at HOL, it is a kind of name from an acid, because I was really confused when HOL asked not to give my real name here so I read that's snack bale and I caught that name its sound nice to be my first name.
How about my last name, Narawiel, well Nara is a name from a comic character, he is the smartest among his friends, he always pick to be a leader if he reside in a group. he is also a good analyst.
I made it to be Narawiel cause that name sound like a name from The Lord of The Rings World. Of course I am a big fan of that's Tolkien's novel and the movie too. So the accident was happen at my first name only.

WOW! there are so many awesome reasons for names. I love that. Well... my name is Astrid Shadows. Astrid is actually my middle name which, of course, I never get a chance to use so I figured why not now? It's a family name given to some of the girls as, you guessed it: middle names /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I think it's Greek for star.
For my last name I wanted something *witchy* and just a lil' bit mysterious. shadows just kinda came to mind. And Astrid Shadows was born. Although my friend was sweet /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> enough to point out that shadows was the name of one of the dogs on Homeward Bound er something like it. You know who you are ~hehehe~ but we'll just ignore that last part.
