Sieryn [See-eh-rin] or [Sai-rin], I answer to either, /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
Atwater [at-wah-ter] as in At the water, without the 'the'... /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> yeah.

Roxanna Black... now... Roxanna isn't pronounced Rocks-Anna. It's more like Rocks-Ah-na. Simple enough right?

I am really glad someone thought of this topic. Pronunciation is just as important as spelling when it comes to names because you don't realy know someone's name until you can say it correctly.

Lamia sounds like Lamb-ee-uh
Lascivia sounds like Lass-sive-ee-uh

I really wanted my name to sound great, as well as have a meaning. I can see lots of other people really put a lot into their names as well. Great Job, Everybody!

Well...

Rashanali ~
Ra (like the Egyptian god, or raw, i suppose)
shaw (rhymes with ra or la)
nuh (rhymes with uh, huh, duh...pretty self-explanatory)
lee (rhymes with see, bee, knee...)

Conyero ~
Con (like in convictor constitution)
Yair (rhymes with hair, or, for Wicked(!!) fans, like in Fiyero)
oh (like in open)

So: Raw-shaw-nuh-lee Con-yair-oh though shaw-lee is just fine

"Kay-" as in "may" or "hay" or "say" (to take into account USA accents LOL)

"-shan" as in "Khan" or "don" with an short a sound

Obviously Lupin is the same as Professor Remus Lupin /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

for some people there are some was of saying Anneliese but this is my way.

Anneliese:

you say- Anne

i say- Anna

you say- lace

I say- 'lEs (like the word lease-A contract granting use or occupation of property during a specified period in exchange for a specified rent. ) i think. lol

pronunciation (my way): Anna-'lEs. An-na-'lEs, very french like. lol

Anneliese! /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
----------------------------

Sakura:

pronunciation for sakura: sa-Kur-a

or

Sa-ku-Ra looks the same but very different saying.

any way is fine. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> hope this helps.

My last name is quite easy to pronounce, I think - it's a regular English name.

First name is....easy, too. It's probably like RAY-K, but the A should be like in "father" and not like in "say" for example. Don't know if that made sense to you?

So that's my first name Stephen and my last name is

Del----like the word Dell

jun----like the word june but without the "e"

co----- like the abbreviation for company co.
