No doubt that my favorite is the Harry Potter series which I'm afraid are the only books I read /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix is certainly my favorite because that is where things go wrong and harry was introduce to a more complex and dark world!!

Oh hon please go read some other books too! Now don't get me wrong, Harry Potter is fab and all, but there are so many other books out there, some of which are even better than HP. Trust me. You won't regret itAndrea Caroline wrote:No doubt that my favorite is the Harry Potter series which I'm afraid are the only books I read /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix is certainly my favorite because that is where things go wrong and harry was introduce to a more complex and dark world!!
As for my faves? Well I'd have to say my favorite series is Diane Duane's Young Wizard series. She's handled the aging of Nita and Kit so well.

Harry Potter of course! I read a lot of series and nothing can compare to Harry Potter. The series of Unfortunate Events was also very good. I wasnt impressed with the movie though....Still, the HP series I just amazing. I love the entire idea of magic especially a school for it. Amazing...just amazing.

Before you critize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you critize them you are a mile away and you have their shoes. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Wand: 15 inches from a maple tree, with a dragon claw core
Pets: One cat named Starlene.

I almost forgot about "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "Lemony Snicket Series of Unfortunate Events",they're really splendid and I adore them! And,by the way-to those people who don't read anything besides Harry Potter-I srongly recommend you to try to read something else, too.Tanya's right,no doubt that somewhere must be some books better than Potter and there is!

Hello everyone,
Some of my favorite series are The Belgariad, The Mallorean, both by David Eddings, The Deeds of Paksenarion by Elizabeth Moon, The Heralds of Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey, of course, Lord of the Rings and HP to name just a few. I also read a lot of stand-alone books.
Happy Reading!

Of course my favourite serie is Harry Potter. Also I like His Dark Materials, Star Wars (old series before ep was released and New order Republic serie) and Guardians of Time Trilogy by Marianne Curley and Circle of Three by Isobel Bird.
In the future the list could grow I'm waiting for Eragon. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I like a lots of series like the dark elf from Salvatore, the Clan novels (Vampire), but my top 3 are:
Terry Pratchett: Discworld - Everybody should read them!
Douglas Adams: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the world's first trilogy with 5 books!)
And of course Tolkien and all of his works concerning Middle Earth.
And HP, but I find it obvious.

I forgot one. Has anyone read the Bartimaeus series by Jonathan Stroud? The first one is The Amulet of Samarkand and the second is The Golem's Eye.
They are wonderful! The third one comes out this fall, I can hardly wait. Also I listened to them on tape, which I don't usually do, but I think they're even better that way as the person reading them does a great job, really adds to the book
