I don't think I could choose! I like them all so much. well, most of them.
I MOST relate to Hermione. I like Ron because he is funny and hot.
Fred and george are so awesome too.
i can't choose just one.

As much as I'd like to say I have a favorite, I can't, with the books or the movies. Although, I consider my criteria to be different when judging between book characters and movie actors. In movies you also have to take into account not only that the person is delivering the lines that you've read over and over again, but HOW they deliver them. They are finally putting a face to the names we've all become acquainted with. Personally, I think Warner Brothers did a tremendous job in putting the faces to those names. Their choice in actors was impecible to me, being the self proclaimed movie critic that I am. And here I say, I still have no favorite. I like each and every character for a different reason. Ron for his facial expressions and his voice squeaks when delivering certain lines, he IS Ron Weasley. Hermione for her sterness and genuine emotion behind what she says, she's Hermione Granger. Even Professor Trelawney...perfect. So I guess after all of this rambling the only point I made was: I have no favorite...I love them all!

Tom Riddle is a definite favourite back in movie 2.
Well for most of the characters are just like I had imagined: Harry, Dumbledore, Hagrid...
Only Ron and Hermione weren't exctly as I had pictured but they are cute anyway /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Well, the first couple movies I thought Draco was so hot..... but after giving it a real thought with the third movie and all, my fave character is Ron cause I love comic relief characters who are main characters but aren't there for any purpose, if you know what I mean, I guess you'd call them Zeppos. *expects to get lectures from someone who read the Pop Culture lesson on that, but it's the right term i need* And plus, Rupert Grint is not that bad to look at now.

Movie-wise, my favorite characters have to be Draco, Snape, and Lucius. They are absolutely hilarious and have the best lines in the movies.
In my opinion, a lot of characters took on lives of their own after the movies, and inspired me greatly... Like how I had no idea that Lucius was so hot before Jason Isaacs took the role. And how Alan Rickman's voice...*tries not to giggle like a crazed fangirl*
The movie overall has very good-looking people in it, and hey, I'm only human. I'm going to enjoy the view.

I agree with the person that said it is hard to pick a favorite because each person brings their own special talents to their particular role and seem so 'right' for it.
Character wise, for example, one of my favorites is Percy Weasley. Even though he plays a minor part, he cracks me up every time. "I am head BOY!". Alan Rickman..need I say more. He is one of the most talented actors around today and his portrayal of Snape is amazing. Jason Isaacs, well..ahem..avoids fangirl scream and just noddles wisely. Actually, even without the fangirl scream, Lucius Malfoy is one of my favorite characters; he is so deliciously..cold and aristocratic. Isaacs plays it off perfectly.

Harry, Ron, and Draco were always my favorites because they are so hot (and Ron is real funny)! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> But Hermione's my most favorite. She's really smart and very talented in magic for a muggle! And Fred and George always made me laugh! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I'm going to go with Ron as on of my favorites, because I love Rupert Grint portraying him. Also, I wholeheartedly agree with what everyone else hassaid about Isaacsv portraying Lucius. Coltrane, the late Richard Harris, and Rickman (exactly how I imagined Snape's voice!) do/did a great job.

My favorite character would be Albus Dumbledore. He is really wise and calm and even funny for an oldman with age like his. My favorite teacher would be Remus Lupin in PoA because he is really good in handling with kids and exam was just marvelous!

My favourite is Snape. Rickman is the one of the best actor in the films.
Snape is ... you know, so Snape, so cold, arrogant, etc. Cool.

Professor Snape, naturally /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Both in the books and in the films. Alan Rickman's one of my favourite actors and is just perfect as Snape!
I also like Hermione because I am like her in so many ways - bossy, a book worm, loves learning and not a geek, ha! I love Ron too because he makes me laugh.
