I have...way too many favorite songs to list all of them, but I do have a song-of-the-week system thing, where I just can't get my mind off the lyrics to a particular song (old or new). Some of the ones I've been stuck with lately (and most of these are all-time favorites)

Bright Eyes - One Foot In Front of the Other
Brand New - Me Vs. Madonna Vs. Elvis
From Autumn to Ashes - Short Stories with Tragic Endings
From Autumn to Ashes - Autumn's Monologue
Something Corporate - Konstantine
Dashboard Confessional - Hands Down
Dashboard Confessional - The Ghost of a Good Thing
The Postal Service - Clark Gable
The Spill Canvas - 3865
Matchbook Romance - If All Else Fails
Senses Fail - Lady in a Blue Dress
The Blood Brothers - Love Rhymes with a Hideous Car Wreck

Etc. etc.
If you let me have my way, I swear I'll tear you apart.

Right.

My all-time favourite is Sky Blue and Black - Jackson Browne. I'm willing to bet almost no one has ever heard of it - if I mention it was in the pilot episode of Friends when Ross and Rachel are looking out their windows, does that jog a few memories? Although I knew the song long before I knew it was in Friends.

My current favourites are Back For More - Clay Aiken, Just You - Clay Aiken and No One But You (Only The Good Die Young) - We Will Rock You OLC. And yes, we may only have heard two of them for the first time a week ago - three days ago in my case, actually - but that doesn't mean they can't be my current favourites.
