ugh i suck at introductions. anyway, I'm shannon or Shani or you know whatever other nickname you can come up with. first year (obviously) slytherin. ugh i'm 17 i enjoy long walks on the beach, intimate conversations by a fire, my favorite dessert is chocolate covered strawberries, i want a man who can teach me the ways....wait a mintue, sorry i got lost in my own thoughts and somehow thought i was on a dating shows. anyway, yep that's me. Well, hi everyone. I'm Katsu Leyah and I joined HOL today. I'm 17 years old and live in Holland. I've read all the books so far, seen all the movies, and I already ordered HP6 in english, because if you are a dutch person, and want to read the dutch version you have to wait until november. I'm not gonna do that. @_@

Anyway. I'm an anime addict, currently studying the japanese language and I'm going there anytime soon. Can't hardly wait ^^
I'm kind of waiting for the end of the summer holidays just so that classes start.
As you can see, I'm a Ravenclaw, and I'm proud of the standard they assign to my house, stuyous people. Because I am.

I've been dreaming about it for months now. I'm 14, 15 in two months when I can DRIVE!!! How Exciting! I live in the USA. I love to read, to act, singing and Dancing, playing Volleyball and Lacrosse, and /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Talking! If you want to PM at any time i would be very very glad to talk to you! I speak French and Spanish(and obviously English), but i'm not allowed to translate for anyone yet because this is my first year. but if you want to PM me in French or Spanish I would be very happy to get it. I can't wait until we can sign up for classes. they will be so much fun! I've always dreamed of going to Hogwarts and taking the classes and such but now I actually can (pretty much). Hi people! My name is Hazel Kaprano. I'm 12, going 13 in September. (yay me!) I live in USA but was born in the Philippines, so I know a bit of that language. (Tagalog) I'm a new firstie Ravenclaw. (GO EAGLES!!) I was hoping to be in Ravenclaw and my dream came true! Well anyway...uh, what was I going to say again...oh yes, I was going to type in my hobbies and interests! Please excuse me if I'm being forgetful. I'm like my dad /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Yeah, I like reading and writing, watching TV, singing and listening to music, (I wonder if I'll get an iPod for my birthday...?) playing my flute, (been playing for four years) going on the computer, and chatting and talking a lot and really fast. It's a habit of mine. I guess I was born with talkative people, but I'm really shy. I only talk a lot to people I know. I love meeting new people, but I don't talk too much to new people. My dream is to become famous, and the reason I want to is because it may take away my shyness. Uh, anyway, I LOVE shopping! Oh, I just love going shopping, mainly clothes! I love clothes!! A lot of it is stuffed in my closet!

Hey, everyone! I'm Psylocke Furey (you can call me Psy if that's too long!) I'm 20 years old, so I don't know if that makes me older than the average person around here, I guess I'll see. Right now I'm brand new so I don't know anything! I'm from Newfoundland, Canada and I'm currently doing a Biochemistry degree... I read my first Harry Potter book when i was 16 and I've been hooked ever since! Oh, and I'm a Ravenclaw, so I guess we've already got something in common, Hazel! And I get where you're coming from because when i was 13 I was extremely shy, and although I'm still a little shy, a lot of it went away with age. So don't worry about it too much, and feel free to talk to me if you like!

I have been a HP fan since around the time when the third book came out and my niece threatened to disown me if I didn't begin reading them. I'm from the Boston, MA area in the US. I am a web designer by trade and have a great love of fictional worlds. I also come from a family of artists and am an all around Renaissance woman.

Okay, I'm a teacher, but I wanna introduce myself. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

My HOL name as you can see is Wisteria Crescent. I am 16 going on 17 and am the Arithmancy 101 teacher here at HOL. I love teaching even though I am only a teen and would love to be an actual teacher when I get older.

I started liking Harry Potter when I was about 14 to 15 years old and am loving all the books so far. I am totally obsessed with it. I live in Alabama, but I'm not saying where there, because of privacy reason. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I love reading books of fantasy hence how I came to love HP. I first found out about it when my Computer Programming teacher at my Middle School had use listen to a tape of the book. I never quite listened to the tape, but my best friend made me read the book and I fell in love with it.

Both my parents are deaf so I am very fluent in sign language and I have a younger sister that annoys the living stuffings out of me. I also have a boyfriend and will be together with him for two years this comming January. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I'm Alaecia, and as you can probably see I'm a first year Gryffindor. In real life, I'm 16 and I live in England. My dad's English, my mum's Canadian, so I've been to Canada a few times. I'll be starting college in September to study Biology, Chemistry, History, Maths and Physics, which should be fun =D

I've not been a HP fan for as long as a lot of the people here, but I guess I've made up for it with how far my obsessions carried. It's common for me and my sister to get into hour long debates about HP, and I guess it's my fault 'cause I forced her to read it. I started reading HP shortly after the fourth book was released, when my dad got the first four on a special offer through his book club. I love reading fantasy novels, so he figured it'd be my cup of tea (and he was right!)

Anyway, I appear to be yattering a little too much, so I'll go now =D

It's good to see I'm not the only new student here! I'm Robyn, a first-year Ravenclaw. The Sorting Hat nearly put my in Slytherin, (not that there's anything wrong with that!) but my love of books must've won out because here I am- an Eagle! (w00t w00t!) I come from the Boston area of MA, though I'm currently spending the summer near D.C. Feels like my school just let out, yet I'm getting pretty excited for HOL class sign-ups! I've already spotted some classes I might like to take. I'm a huuuuge mythology fan, plus a certified computer geek. I own a little family of Apple computers (no Windows! yay!), and I <3 them all. When I'm not online, I'm usually out taking photos, shopping, or sketching, mostly in anime style. If anyone wants to drop me a PM, feel free! I don't really know anyone yet. ^^

Well, I'm Lucinda, but you can call me Lucy or Lu, and I'll be 20 come March. I live in the States normally, but am often across the pond in the UK visiting my father's family (which is where I am now). I'm a "British/American hybrid", as my mates like to call me, in that I was brought up in America, but was raised by my father according to British standards. So, regardless of where I go, I'm the oddball out. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Anyway, I've been a fan of HP for a long time - seems like forever. I also like any telly programme by Joss Whedon, books by CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien, horse riding, football, basketball, music, archery and animals. I work as a clerk at a vet's right now until I can afford to go to university.

I have two dogs, a Border collie called Vane and a BC/Husky cross called Kaisa, the occasional foster bird, and whatever stray happens along. Yes, my house gets very noisy. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Hello All... I'm Ainthe Thunderrose and am a first year Gryffindor! Yeah!

At 34, I'm a little older than most of you but love the HP books and the world that J.K has created. I'm from the States and besides reading all kinds of books, I enjoy playing softball, tennis and bowling. I also enjoy watching football (college and NFL), hockey, and NASCAR. I am also trying to finish up my MBA degree in the next two semesters, so I'm hoping it won't interfere too much with my time here at HOL.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and having great discussions about HP!
