Let me see. I'm 21, about to enter my third year of university. I'm double majoring in History and East Asian studies. I'm hoping to take my history (and maybe my EAS) major and pursue a Master's after graduation. I'm not sure exactly what sort of history I'd like to specialize in yet, but it's either going to be the Victorian era, Scots history, or Japanese history.

I'm a huge fan of languages, and I'm learning French and relearning Japanese currently. I'm really excited because come this fall, I'll be heading to Japan for my third year studies. I can't wait. /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> This summer I went to Montreal in Quebec to brush up on my French skills.

In my spare time, I like sucking my brains out on the PlayStation (Final Fantasy VII, Dance Dance Revolution and Kingdom Hearts own my soul), writing fanfiction and posting on Gaia, an anime roleplaying forum. Oh, and I love anime and manga, too. Anything by CLAMP, Witch Hunter Robin, Cowboy Bebop and Excel Saga are just some of my favourite titles.

I'm really excited to be in Gryffindor as a first-year and look forward to an exciting year with all of you. I'm one of the oldest, as I'm over 40. My neice, son and daughter is responsible for turning me into a HP/JKR fan. I work all day and am a fulltime student at a local university. It was great to see to some older newbies signing up. I don't feel too alone. I'm just a kid-at-heart anyway.

This will be a great break from the "Real" world. I hope to have some fun, learn a few tricks, and try some of my magic.

I have a strong and lengthy bloodline of seers and healers from the Appalachias. (This is the real part!)
