I started reading her novels 10 years ago, now, and recently I felt an urge to continue her saga, that I left because it's long and RL may be oppressive :/
Name of the author: Diana Gabaldon
Main genre: History, Romance, Adventure
Main audience: Women
Main books: The Claire Randall saga, of which the first book, Outlander, has recently been used as base for a TV show.
Good points / bad points
I like the way she writes, she is extremely good in describing, and her style is fluid, you can read it easily. On the counterpart, maybe her books are a little too long, but trust me, they flow rapidly. I'd like if you give her a chance, because she's an author I owe much to, and I loved her so much that, after 10 years, I came back to her in order to continue her saga. I saw she wrote another saga, in the meanwhile, and I really think I shall buy and read those books
Do you know her? Or have you seen the TV series, Outlander, and got interested? I'd like to hear your impressions, or your concerns about it!
Cheers
