My doctor says I have a malformed public duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fiber and that I am therefore excused from saving Universes.

And if not for the fact I re-watched FotR over break I never would have been able to guess that one XD
Your turn then

I know this isn't the answer!
But just wanted to say -- I read that and immediately thought of Gimli saying
"Salted pork?!"
This was immediately after Pippin (I think it was Pippin, and not Merry) said, mumbling through a mouthful of food "The salted pork is especially good."
Okay, off to wonder where or who or what said QUOTE Roast chicken?![/quote]

Why oh why is no one guessing my quote?
Do you all need more hints?
Well?
Then....
Seasoning is involved.
I repeat, Seasoning is involved

"Brego."
That would be Aragorn speaking to a horse in the stables of rohan.

That's it exactly, Ronja.
Good job! \o/
(To me, it was such a telling moment because it showed that Aragorn cared for all creatures, and he recommended that they turn Brego free. That Brego had been so soul-damaged that he needed to be free.)
(And then, of course, later on Brego shows up to rescue Aragorn.)
(and ... none of it is in the books.
)
(Maybe we could have a topic of things we really LIKED in the movies that were totally made up by the people who created the films because they certainly weren't in the books.)

( what I loved was that the emotions of the characters were so visible and understandable. In the book there are hardly any emotions written at all, and only when you read the appendixes and the silmarillion and everything random comments seem very significant all of a sudden...)

Okay, this is a wild guess, but I'm making it because I want to get the topic going again.
That sounds like it could be a hobbit speaking .. the casual phrasing and such.
Maybe it is a hobbit talking about food (but I have a difficult time thinking they would be casual about food!) so maybe it is Sam saying something to Frodo about running out of lembas bread?
