Hello all Hogwarts students and staff!

My name is Evelynn Ford, and I'm sorted into Ravenclaw. I'm 16 years old and I came from Western New York. (Anyone else? If you're interested, I'll tell you my hometown.)

I found out about HOL from an add one online TCG's (Trading Card Game) creator posted about. She just happens to be Ravenclaw's prefect! I love her dearly for introducing me to this new world!

Anyways, I'm off to explore the new grounds!

My name is Alysabeth Morgan Leigh and I am a half-blood. My mother is a witch, while my father is a muggle. My mom's a stay at home mother to myself and my little sister and brother, while my dad's a doctor at the local muggle hospital. I've got an older brother named Jeremiah, a younger brother named Brendan, and a younger sister named Devyn. We live in London and I am first magical child from my family, for some reason my older brother like my dad's also just a muggle.

I just registered yesterday, after waiting a few months to be able to register.

Iâ€™m 30-something-years-old and am a high school art teacher. I sense a bit of an age gap hereâ€¦ but I donâ€™t mind if you donâ€™t. Iâ€™m here probably for the same reasons most everyone else is --I enjoy the Harry Potter series, and HOL looks like something fun to do when I have extra time.

I am a Ravenclaw. (However, Slytherin is a close second.) If it looks like we have things in common, you can reply (PM me). Any age -- meeting people that we have things in common with is part of the fun. (Iâ€™m curiousâ€¦ Are there other people at HOL over the age of 30â€¦ or am I the â€œsupreme fossilâ€ here?) /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

A few of my favorite things:

Colors: burgundy, dark blue, dark green, red (and black, if you want to call it a color)

Music: Linkin Park, S Club Juniors, Godsmack, Evanescense, Disturbed, Slipknot, etc.â€¦ or Enya if Iâ€™m feeling mellow

Reading material: Harry Potter series (of course), The Life You Were Born to Live by Dan Millman, Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey, well-written Snape fanficts like â€˜The Fire and the Roseâ€™, and whatever topic Iâ€™m curious about from herbs to personal finance to world religions

Movies: Harry Potter (all of them so far), Lord of the Rings series, Elizabeth, The Adams Family, Adams Family Values, Pirates of the Caribbean, Braveheart, Rob Roy, King Arthur, Dogma, The Ring, The Grudge, Gothika, The Crow, etc.

Hero/Heroine: Queen Elizabeth I (the daughter of King Henry VIII), because she overcame many obstacles to become a strong woman and an excellent queen

Animals: Cats (I own a Devon Rex), cats, catsâ€¦ And dragons, unicorns, and gargoyles if you want to count those

Cartoon character: Raven (from Teen Titans), because she fights for â€œgoodâ€ although she struggles with a dark side, plus she has a brooding and private personality

Fictional character: Severus Snape, because I can identify with much of his character â€“ his profession, his being a bit â€œtwistedâ€, etc. (I am not crushing on him â€“ Heâ€™s not even real. Besides, if he were real, that thought would make us both nauseous.)

I am a total Harry Potter fanatic. I am currently begging my mom to let me go to the midnight party at my local Barnes and Noble on July 15.
