Hi, everyone! I'm Veronica, but you can call me Nikki. I don't really mind what house I get put into but I have 2 houses that are my fav. In real life I'm 19 and am the oldest of 3 children. I recently took a semester off from college and plan on going back this fall. Yay! I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life but that's ok. Right now I work as an Assistant Front End Manager at a grocery store.

(Well it's not my real name, of course...) xD I'm 15 years old, turning 16 in December. I have a obsession with fantasy and horror and Anime and Manga. And even though I just joined, I've already compleated the sorting hat, which I found a link to in the Prefects FAQ... (Is that strange? =/) I'm starting my second year in highschool, and I'm from the United States in California.

Wow, all the new people are already introducing themselves! I'd better introduce myself too!

I just signed up today. I'm Aiko, I live in the eastern United States and I turned 17-and-a-half this June (yup, I count my half-birthdays! I never get any half-birthday presents though.) As you might've deduced already, my name is Japanese. Breaking it down, "ai" means 'love,' "-ko" is a diminutive suffix that Japanese people like to tack onto girls' names, and "yamamura" means 'mountain village.' I actually borrowed "Yamamura" from Sadako Yamamura--anyone heard of Ringu? /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Aah, I'm getting ahead of myself though. Yes, I love all things Japanese, and I'm going to major in Japanese once I get into college. (That is, assuming I pass high school, which may or may not be likely...) I also like stuff that's fluffy and pink. Yeah, thins I like, that's a good way to break the ice! Here's a list I just made!

Hey everyone

My name's Remich. I just registered the other day, and am waiting to be sorted. I have a certain house in mind that I hope to be put in, but I guess in the end I will have fun no matter where I am put.

Anyway, in RL I am a 25 year old wastewater treatment system designer from the Philadelphia area in the USA. Not married, no kids, so plenty of time for online gaming lol I used to be big into Star Wars Galaxies, but recently I have gotten back into World War II online. I am also into anime; my current favorite is the.hack//sign and the .hack//dusk series'.

I guess thats about it. If ya wanna know anything else, just ask :-)

I'm Kei. I registered yesterday and decided to prowl around HOL today and get the hang of things.
I have an older half brother brother named Katashi, and while my whole family is a mix of Italians and Germans, it's pretty obvious that our first names are Japanese. My mom visits Japan a lot for bussiness purposes and decided that Japanese names have a better 'ring' than english ones.
I'm 11 years old, of course, being a first year, and am just looking to have a good time. I'm looking forward to the sorting, and trying to be a little patient about waiting for it to start.

In RL I am a 15 year old otaku (fangirl). I love anime, fanfiction, and jrock. I have two sisters, one older, and one my twin. I'm rather antisocial, although not completely loner like. I like learning stuff independently, like about html, cars, and Japan. My html skills are just basic right now, but I'm trying to dedicate myself to creating a totaly useless webpage to ehance them...

Hey everyone, I'm Star. I like to think that my HOL character is a late blooming magic user and is a tad bit older than most of the first years, though I'm not sure if that would ever happen in the Harry Potter world. (School hasn't started yet so I still have some time to perfect my HOL character). I found out about this site just after registration ended last summer and forgot exactly when registration was during winter break. So I made sure to remember this summer's registration. Obviously I remembered and here I am!

It is nice to see other new students introducing themselves as well.

In real life I'm a 20 year old rising college Junior (meaning I'll be a junior in college this coming fall). I once was a voice major but have since changed to something else (a major which you probably wouldn't guess in a million years).

Garnet and Avi, hope you enjoy your freshman year in college, and remember not to get too stressed and that you can always change to a different major. You have a lot of free time at first to do whatever you want, but that changes after a week or so when you get bogged down. Just take breaks each day and you should be fine. Oh, yeah, books will always be expensive and if you can buy used, do so! Buying 5+ books at $100 a pop is NOT fun. Especially when you are buying a tiny book that costs $120 like this book I had to buy last semester.

Hi, everyone! I'm Cassiopeia Potter, but you can all call me Cassie. I'm 21 years old, so I have to say my magical powers were a little late in coming but oh well. It only matters that they are here now.

I found this site a few weeks ago and tried my best to remember when the registration was so that I can sign up. I don't know what house I'm in yet with the sorting hat being down at the moment. Though I tend to think of myself as a Hufflepuff. But I'll say that now and get sorted somewhere else! :lol

In real life I'm a senior in college and have one last semester left. Though I'm not finishing it till the spring semester so I can work and save money for now. So I'll hopefully have time for HOL. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

My name is Hannah Taylor and I am a half blood wizard. I grew up pretty much like a muggle since my father is a muggle. They told me at an early age what I was and I couldn't understand why I had magical powers and the two best friends I grew up with didn't. My best guy friend Jake found out because he was in my house and found the letter on the table and then of course he told my best girlfriend Alisha about it and she was a bit upset that I never told her and a bit scared but I managed to reassure her and she is ok with it. Jake thought it was some sort of joke at first and I was going to let him think it since my parents didn't want them to ever know but he is sneaky and figured out it wasn't a joke. They are sworn to secrecy of course. My mother is hoping that since Jake is my neighbour that we'll end up like she and my father since they lived next door to each other but I can't see it happening. Oh yea I am an only child.

In real life I am 17 going on 18 I just finished my first year of grade twelve but since I didn't take the right courses for what I want to do in life I am going back for a semester. I have an older sister who is 19 and a mother and step father. I have two cats named Scrappy and Felix. I have been a Harry Potter fan for a year after someone gave me one of the books for a birthday present.
I found this site months ago but I couldn't sign up and I sort of forgot about it until maybe a week or so ago when I suddenly remembered and I came back to see if I could sign up yet.

Hi everyone Im Lucinda Sobek, i have not been sorted yet because well the hats asleep /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> but im sure it will wake up soon, im really excited about taking up the classes as i love (and am obsessed with) magical creatures so i will be frantically trying to sign up to every lesson concerning them.

Im 17 and from South East England (yes i have gone a stood by platforms 9 and 10 to see if any robed kids carrying owls would turn up /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> before you ask ) i like to read, rp, write silly stories and play online.

Oh, oh, my turn! Well, to all of you that don't know me... Which I guess is everybody actually (Hi!), I'm Adriana Knight, a person who has no house until the sorting hat is all fixed so I can pounce on it and eat i- Erm, so I can get sorted. Yeah, thats what I meant. Anyway, I've been waiting for signups to open for a longer time than is healthy. I spotted the site some time in Febuary, I think... Just after the half-year signups, in fact! So, I've been watching you ever since, waiting for my chance! No, I am not a stalker, honest! /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ph34r:" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> Anyway, I finally realised signups were open (after checking every day just to make sure that they weren't boosted forward since the first of June... No, I am not an obsessive maniac! Not much, anyway...) and stuck my username in! I had a whole list of possibilities, but somehow I ended up with this one... Yeah. And then, today I finally got inlone, saw my username on the accepted list, jumped over to the Exam and passed first time! I think it was mostly luck, but don't tell anyone important...

Anyway, I'm a 15 year old girl, who lives in North-east England... I think. Something like that. I'm a natural red-head, have brown eyes, am tall, and freckle easily. In fact, I don't freckle. I am freckled, perminantly. Always have been. I'm a vegetarian, and we have 3 horses, 1 dog, 1 cat, a bazillion tropical fish and something my parents claim is my sister, but what I believe to be a demon in disguise. And not a very good disguise, either. My mom is Canadian, my dad English... I always end up babysitting my cousins. That's pretty much my family. I'm completly off my rocker, yet I'm still the bookworm of our group of friends - I'm well known to be the smartest girl in our form based on results (thus a clamour for everyone in my maths group to copy the homework every Thursday, Friday and Monday...), and I love reading and writing. Ultimatley, I want to go into medicine, as a doctor in Paediatrics, all though I am interested in Genetics as well... I can speak a little Spanish and French (well, up to a high GCSE level, if that means anything to you. And French and Spanish people understand me, pretty much...), and my room is full of sketches and scribble. I love to write and draw, but when you've got an incredible artist (and I mean incredible... I think she's some sort of prodigy. So do the art teachers. She was doing A-level work in Year 7...), it kinda makes your artwork look shady in comparison, especially when your former art teacher hated you (thus me dropping the subject). But hey, if you ever want to see any of my dodgy sketches, drop by my webiste which should be off hiatus by the next century xD I RP quite a bit as well, and write fanfiction when I can be bothered, which isn't often. So, if you want to chat to me anytime, I have AIM, YIM and MSN... And an email addy. So go ahead. I don't usually natter on this long... Well, yeah, I do... But I'm currently in a hyper hour (I've spent all day doing Work Experiance in the library... pent up energy...), so just ignore me if ya want. Nod and Smile, that's my advice. Hey all! Enderlynn Rose here, but most of my home friends call me Lynn for short, or Rose. You're all welcome to call me those names too. I'm a first year here at HOL, but like most of those who have just registered this year, I haven't been through the sorting hat yet. I'm not quite sure which house I'll be placed in, but whichever place it is, I'm sure the sorting hat knows what he's doing, and will put me in the right place.

Anyhow, I am a full blooded along with my two younger sisters. I'm half of Filipino decent, and half of British decent. My mother flew to Manchester, England with her family when she was a little girl, and met my father at her school while attending high school. They were married straight out of high school, and had myself along with my two younger sisters.

Well, I was just hopping around the web when I stumbled onto HOL, and I guess it was destiny that I dropped onto it the first day the school was accepting registration. After telling my mother and father the story during dinner, they confronted me of our family secret, and asked if I would like to attend the school. I told them that I would be mad if I didn't! And my two sisters, being the jealous little munchkins that they were, wanted to join too. Now here I am. With all of you probably as excited as I am starting my first year here at HOL. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Haha...alright, in the REAL world, I live in O'ahu, Hawai'i and attend a high school in the middle of Honolulu as a sophomore (this upcoming school year). I have a little brother through blood, and two younger sisters through fate. I'm full Filipino, and turning 16 next March. I stumbled on the site trying to look for another Virtual Hogwarts site, but ended up on this one. I checked out the classes and they were pretty interesting. Though I'm not a very big reader of the Harry Potter series, I like magic so that's what interests me about the site. I'm hoping that this site will take up some of my time during the short summer I have this year, and that I learn somethinge extra from the classes. Take care everybody!

To the newbies comeing in...

Hi! I'm Pezzie Granger, second year. I know some of you may be nervous wondering the halls meeting new students and older ones.

I want to introduce myself to you...I'm a Hufflepuff, a Prefect, a Hufflepuff Cheerleader, I run the Hufflepuff website. I do lots of fun stuff with the Badgers and everything.

It's all about having fun here and learning new things. I know I learnt a lot from my first year /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I want to welcome the newbies coming in to feel free to pm me or check out my www link button and send me e-owls. I'll help you out as much as I can with questions you may have as well as any prefect or professors out there.

Hi, I'm Hailey Potter. I just turned fourteen today. Most people think my name is pronounced (Hey-lee) but it's not. It's actually (Hal-ee) (Hal rhymes with Sal) I'm a firstee for the second year in a role, because my computer bombed out and was down for 3 months, so I missed the midterm and unfortunately got kicked out, setting me inactive. But this year, I plan to stay in and get upgraded to second year. (I'll keep my fingers crossed that my computer won't mess up again!) My parents are both muggles, so yes, I am a mudblood. (I say it with pride!) I'm fully American; I live in the middle of Tennessee. (Well, not really in the middle, but close) I believe I do have some Irish and British ancestery though. (May explain my keen love for the British history, especially the Tudor family) I am obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and have typed over 25 Buffy episodes, although the number is expanding within each week. If anyone has any question about anything that deals with Buffy, I reccomend you come to me. I'm obsessed with music, I guarentee you'll find me wondering around the halls soon with my headphones on my ears and me holding my CD player in my hands playing Ashlee Simpson's album; I'm planning on getting it as soon as it comes out. As most of my fellow students are doing, I welcome all the newbies, and look forward to seeing you in my classes and around the halls. (Since I did fail) I really haven't made any friends here, /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> so anyone interested in befriending me, please PM me!!

Hi! I am new here, and very much looking forward to attending HOL. I am very nervous tho! I am usually very out going, and love meeting new people. I am very artistic in the theatre (I am a Stage Manager/Company Manager/House Manager, any thing I can get my paws into!) sense, although I am learning to draw! hi im Dimitra. almost 16 (1 month and 10 days left!). im really looking forward to enrolling soon and all that jazz.uber glad i stumbbled onto this sight. and im still waiting to be sorted (crosses fingers that'll it'll open soon).

Im half and half (mother was muggle and dad was a wizard) and im from Russia. Originally my family is from the outskirts of Chernobyl, then we moved to Moscow. I live with my parents and my four older brothers; none of which, im proud to say, have magical talents as i do.. I have a pet albino boa named Legato and my great grey owl Stacato.

I enjoy quidditch. (my fav positions are keeper and beater) the subjects im looking forward to the most are potions, DADA and charms. im fairly good at mythology and historical subjects and look foward to any of those too. i play the flute and have for the last 6 years. I enjoy swimming, reading, writing, watching movies, singing, dancing, shopping, going to rock concerts, watching and playing sports like rugby, US football, hockey, lacrosse and wakeboarding. send me an email if we have anything in common and you would like to talk /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> i dont bite...hard...XD

Hello everyone. I figured I'd stick my head in and introduce myself before everyone gets carried away.

My name is Sarai Edgebrooke. I'm entering my first year at HOL, eagerly anticipating sorting and all that good stuff. I'm the first wizard in my family in over 50 years, so needless to say my grandmother was rather excited about the prospect of attending such a highly acclimated place.

Hopefully I'll make some really good friends and learn a lot. I'm looking forward to classes and sharing what I know about the Muggle world with my classmates.

Hiya! I'm Ami Silentio. This will be my first year and I have yet to be sorted! I can't wait till classes start though, I'm just sooo excited!

Both of my parents are wizards, but my grandmother on my mother's side is a muggle, well, was a muggle. She passed away when I was younger. No big deal, I hardly remember her. My parents were a little afraid I wouldn't be accepted, mainly because my brother wasn't.

I'm not really into Quidditch, but I do also enjoy muggle literature in addition to wizarding lit., esspecially when histories cross over! I do have a nice bird though, a sweet red tailed hawk. Our family was once known for our falconers. We're not as renowned now because of the masses employed to teach post owls, but we still train hawks, falcons and an odd owl or two.
