Alas, alack, again our prompt was not thought to be funny. No beans handed out!

Our last prompt for October celebrates teachers and students.

Who is most likely to be a 'teacher's pet'?

For example: Draco Malfoy, who was doted upon by Professor Snape! Oddly enough, there were many examples of Professor Snape blatantly favouring Draco Malfoy in the books. I wonder how many other instances there were, and what they were.

No one wanted to mention who was most likely to be a teacher's pet? I guess that's the difficulty with saying things about witches and wizards, your ears might get attached to a cactus. Okay .... on to a new month!

November, a time of the changing of the seasons, and holidays approaching in many parts of the world, continues on in here with some more prompts.
Most likely to call out for (order to have delivered or pick up) dinner instead of cooking it
For example: Sherlock Holmes (The Five Orange Pips) would be much more likely to have Mrs. Hudson bring him some food rather than him taking the time to clear off any stove surface of different pots and pans and perhaps toxic substances and actually cook something edible for himself.

Xie lian From Heavens Official Blessings. If there was such thing as a delivery service for food He would do it. Or rather make Hua Cheng cook. His food is not edible

November also has, in those changing of the seasons, changing of temperatures and weather.
Most likely to forget to wear a warm coat when leaving in the morning
For example: Bella Swan (in Twilight), when she first moves to Washington, is used to the warmer weather of Arizona. If the morning sky outside the window looked clear and blue when she first got up, she might be deceived into thinking that it will be a warm day, and dress accordingly.

It would probably have to be Neville Longbottom for me. The boy has always forgotten something or the other!

(Not quite sure if he'd count since he's from a manga and not a novel (though there are light novels for the series)) But Kaminari Denki from Boku no Hero Academia would definitely forget a warm coat in the morning. Boy has some lose wires up in that electrified head of his.

Modes of transportation differ from book to book, from series to series. Even inside a series of books, the modes of transportation can change.
Who would prefer to ride a hippogriff rather than a broomstick?
For example, take Ginny Weasley (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) who we see riding broomsticks with the best of them, but maybe perhaps she'd prefer to ride a hippogriff just because of their nature and she is fierce too.

I think it would be Rhaneyra from The Fire and Blood series. She likes dragons, it runs in her family, so her and a hippogriff makes sense.

November ends with this prompt --
Who would be the least thankful for the time period of a hard test to be called (over)?
For example: Hermione Granger (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), who would be someone who completed all of the questions, then went back to add notes and memos and additions to her already completed test (on which she had already earned 145%).

It would probably be Adam Carlsen from Love Hypothesis, he thrives on creating hard tests for his pupils or even taking them because he likes people to suffer.

Our first prompt for December is…

Most likely to hold a grudge

For example: Professor Snape from the Harry Potter series - He didn’t just hold a grudge against the marauders, he carefully nurtured it over decades.

Beans have been awarded.

I think the person most likely to hold a grudge would be Josh Chen from Twisted Games. Fair warning this series is not for the younger kids. Anyway he did actually hold a grudge against his best friend for a good couple months😂

Oh, my. What about Inigo Montoya, from William Goldman's The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure, who is remembered for his classic: "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Although perhaps this isn't a grudge, per se, but more like a vendetta, he definitely has the ability to remember a wrong and to wish to correct it.

Beans have been bestowed!

And we continue on with…

Most likely to display a hidden talent

For instance: Nancy Drew from the Nancy Drew Mysteries - In the first 5 books alone she shows a knack for mystery solving, speed boat piloting, diving and horse riding (and also for walking slap bang into dangerous situations but let’s gloss over that).

Molly Moon from the Molly Moon series. In each book she displays an uncanny knack for strange talents, including hypnotism and time travel.

Bilbo baggins from the hobbit. He has the uncanny ability to be sneaky when he wants to be, and is very smart street wise.

Harry Crewe, from The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. She was someone with a vast restlessness and then, somehow, found out more about herself, and some innate talents which had previously been quite unbeknownst to her.

Apologies for the slight delay, the month ran away from me! Beans have been sent and as a heads up, next week’s prompt will be going up on Saturday as usual (so on 24 Dec).
For this one though, let’s get devious for December…

Someone with a talent for revenge

My pick is Matilda Wormwood from Matilda who used her superior brain to devise lots of ingenious ways to get back at people who wronged her and others.

Christian Harper in Twisted Lies. He has the money, connections and the brain to get his revenge without breaking a sweat.
