There are soooooooo many television shows out there that have some amazing duos (or even trios) out there. Who are some of your favorite and what shows are they from as well?
To name a few for me I love:
Jim and Pam (from the Office)
Lorelai and Rory (from Gilmore Girls)
Mulder and Scully (from the X-Files)
Dynamic Duos..or Trios

I second Mulder and Scully! They are my favorite TV "couple" (romantic or platonic) to date.
Some pairs whose on-screen chemistry I enjoyed are also:
Holmes & Watson (Sherlock) - Okay, I am kind of cheating with this one since the show and movies come from a book, but it counts to me.
Benson & Stabler (Law and Order: SVU) - I never liked any of her later partners and it was a bittersweet joy seeing them together again for a couple of episdoes this TV season.
Peralta & Boyle (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) - NINE NINE!
And who can forget the cartoon classic... Tom & Jerry!

...also a platonic soulmate and a hot mess of a human being.
