Non Harry Potter Book Discussion
I used to reread all the books and watch all the movies before each book/movie release, but this time RL interefere with my plans. I remembered I had to reread the series like 4 days before the GoF release. Unfortunately it was far too late, so I changed my plans and decided to reread only GoF and watch the movies (I could if I read 9 chapters each day). But then I had to work and all that and ended up reading the firsat 3 chapters and not even watching the movies.
I was just lucky that I'd spent so much time reading the whole series previously so I had the story fresh in my mind (last time I read it was before the HBP release).
I read it a long time before the movie came out.... Cedric. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

yep-I reread the books several times a year, whenever I'm in between other books, only have a short amount of time (I can read just a bit of it because i know the stories so well), or if I'm just in the mood for some good ol' harry potter-which is often. And re-reading before the movies is a good thing too because of course the books are the real deal and it wouldn't be a good thing to go into the movie without knowing what things in the movie are wrong/changed...hint hint-4th movie!!

I've read it so many times. Probably in the thirties, so I know the book really well. Though I haven't since the week or two before HBP came out. So I've forgotten many of the SMALL details. I usually re-read books before their movies are released, but I've decided to stop that. If you forget about the small details, you won't notice when they are not in the movie. And you don't get angry. And end up enjoying the movie more. That's with me, anyway.

I read it for the first time about a few weeks before the movie and read it again the day before and then again after the movie. I'm planning to read it again if I have a free time. I can't have enough of it.

My friends and me loved to role-played as HP GoF characters. Usually, I played as Chom Hermione or Ginny, it was fun though, even I don't really understand the story. And after the movie came out, I read it over and over again.
