Well aside from the obvious Harry Potter /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I really enjoy the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde. They're a lot of fun, especially for people who are really into literature or are English majors. The first book is The Eyre Affair.

Well, Harry Potter is up there, for sure, but I'm not sure about it being my FAVE series. I love the Pendragon series by DJ Machale, as well as the A-List series by Zoey Dean, the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and the Ender series by Orson Scott Card. Series of Unforunate Events by Lemony Snicket are also really fun to read, cause they're really easy reads and it's just a fun weekend project, see how many you can get through sort of thing. =)

I have to confess that I am quite obsessed with the Harry Potter series, but I also enjoyed His Dark Materials, I'm looking forward to see "The Golden Compass"movie but I know I'll be disappointed by that, as it often happens in these cases.. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />

Ha, I love the Hitchhiker's Guide.. it's hilarious! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> I've only finished the first two books, but I'm about halfway through the third, which is Life, the Universe, and Everything, which you left you out /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> But yea, they're definitely hilarious books.Marc McMalun wrote:QUOTE (Marc McMalun @ Jul 17 2007, 12:40 AM) Has anyone heard of the hitchhikers guide series by douglas adams? If you want ot fidn all the books to the sereis you ahve to find THe Ultimate Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, which is lal of the books in a single volume. They include The Hitchikers guide to the galxy, The Restaurant at Teh End of the universe, So Long and Thanks for the Fish, YOung Zaphod Plays it Safe(short story), and Mostly Harmless. I think this and HP are my two all time favorites

Besides Harry Potter, I like Lord of the Rings. I'm reading the Sillmarlion right now(not sure of the correct spelling for that). My favorite genre is fantasies and fiction.

Incarnations of Immortality by piers anthony is by far my favorite series. I read the first book of the series when i was 15. i have been hooked since. LOL.
Piers is a very talented science fantasy writer. Over his vass career he has written many short stores as well as novels. Chthon, the first of the Aton series, was Piers Anthony's first published novel in 1967, written over the course of seven years. He started it when he was in the US Army, so it has a long prison sequence that is reminiscent of that experience, being dark and grim.
The number of his writings is near the three digit marker now. The Xanth series alone has a total of 29 novels! yes, he has been a very busy man since 1967. LOL.
each novel in theIncarnations of Immortality series is about an Incarnation.
On A Pale Horse is about Thantos (or Death).
Bearing An Hourglass is about Chronos (or father of time)
With a Tangled Skein is about Clotho the youngest of three Fates.
Wielding a Red Sword is about the God Of war or Mars.
Being a Green Mother is about Gaea, mother earth.
For Love of Evil is about Lucifer.
And Eternity is follows more into a plot line revealed in the other novels. In this particular novel it is discovered that its time for the Incarnation of God to be replaced or evil will win.
