I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils
This is the opening of an incredibly famous poem by William Wordsworth.

While it’s perhaps Wordsworth’s most well-known poem, it owes a lot to two other people in his life: his wife Mary and sister Dorothy. The poem was inspired by a diary entry Dorothy wrote about a country walk they took where they encountered a huge patch of wild-growing daffodils. Mary contributed two lines (They flash upon that inward eye/Which is the bliss of solitude) that Wordsworth believed were the two best in the poem.

Let’s celebrate this famous tale of flowers with a jigsaw. Please take a screenshot of your completed puzzle and upload it to an image sharing website - make sure your image is no more than 600 x 600 pixels.
