My favorite songs are quite "old" compared to more recent releases, but they do help me cheer up when I'm in a bad mood... "Beautiful" by Christina Algulera, "Only Hope" by Mandy Moore, "When you Believe" by Christina Algulera and I forgot who else, "Hero" by Mariah Carey, and "Without You" sung by Mariah Carey.

3. She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5)
4. I Think that I'm in Love with You (Jessica Simpson)
5. Better Off (Ashlee Simpson)
6. La Soledad (Laura Pausini)
7. Aqui (Sin Bandera)

I don't remember if I ever posted here, but if I did, it's probably so long ago that I have a few new favorite songs now.
First of all, my two favorite songs ever are "Stop Loving You" by Toto (because it was the first chart hit I remember liking) and "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera. Both of these songs are from the late 80's, I think.
As for other songs, I've recently started listening to contemporary Christian music, from artists such as Steven Curtis Chapman, Avalon, Casting Crowns, Petra and so on. Because of that, I suddenly have a long list of quite "new" favorite songs. I guess I have to mention Avalon's "Testify to Love" especially, because that was probably the song that got me into this genre.
Other than that, most of my favorite songs are somewhat old - as in from the (late) 80s and 90s. I guess I could mention songs such as "Open Your Heart" and "True Blue" from Madonna, "Nothing Else Matters" from Metallica, "All I Wanna Do" from Heart and "My Love" from Westlife - which is probably the "newest" song in this list.
And yes, I'm not too picky when it comes to music. As melodic, well-sung tune is a good tune, no matter what genre it is from.

I love quite a bit of music but if I need to break it down into a couple favorites I think I'd say:
Seal: Kissed by a Rose
Chris Cagle: Cause the chicks dig it

The Beatles - A Day in the Life
Derek & the Dominos - Layla
The Rolling Stones - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Bob Dylan - Like a Rolling Stone
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit

I love music fullstop, but one of my alltime favourites for dancing is Sing Sing Sing on the CD Swingkids. I also like the music from Cabaret. Anything by Evelyn Glennie is wonderful to and Cold Play is probably my favourite group at the moment. I also like scottish and irish folk music.
I could just carry on for ages listening to music and telling you about everything I like /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Many Thanks to the wonderful Efie from SparkleissaInk for both Signature and Avatar.
