Pocahontas and Mulan weights the same for me but then I could only vote for one so Pocahontas. It is just fantastics (the songs and everything) although it went away with the original story still it is simply the best for me...

I loved Beauty & the Beast the most. It's a fairy tale that teaches children to look for the good in all people; this is a valuable lesson at a young age. I also love the thought that there is hope when everyone around you has given up on you. There is someone out there that will not give up on you. Plus, I believe this was one of Disney's first improvements in animation. I loved that ball room scene with the wide camera angles, fire on the candles, and the Beast and Belle's reflection on the glossy wooden floor. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

It was a hard decision between Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid, but I chose Peter Pan! It's my all time favorite movie and when I was much younger, I used to wish Peter could come to my house and take me to Neverland! It looked so much fun there. lol

I really love Beauty and the Beast, and think Orick made some very good observations about the story. And, as a movie, besides the serious side it's just incredibly good entertainment. The enchanted castle servants are funny and charming, and now I can't imagine the story without them. The animation is *gorgeous*; the characterization is very good; the songs really add to the story, and I enjoy them even though I'm not really into musicals.
Finding Nemo would probably be my second choice. It can be hysterical at times, and the adventure makes for a fantastic story. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
-- The Fox and the Hound was also the first big-screen movie I saw. I know I loved it, and was one happy five-year-old (? I think). The trip to a town big enough to have a movie theater, with a station-wagon full of excited neighborhood kids, was lots of fun, too.
Sometimes I get a bit ticked off about how Disney storylines seem to be mostly all the same anymore, and how production values aren't so great for some of their movies; but then they'll come out with something that's an outstanding movie. I have to give them props for providing some of the happiest moments of my life. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

My favourite would have to be The Lion King. It was one of the first films i went to see at the cinema (Jurassic Park and Babe being the others i remember seeing when i was younger) and i still love it 12 years later. It's beautifully animated, and i absolutely love the story. It's funny yet sad at the same time. And of course, let's not forget the songs.
Like Amethyst, my second favourite would have to be Finding Nemo. The animation is superb and it is absolutely hilarious. There was times when i was nearly rolling on the floor with laughter when i saw it at the cinema.

Wow! This is extremely difficult to choose just one because Disney movies rock! and mostly because I enjoy watching them all. Let see, I think I choose Beauty and The Beast as it is a beautiful story about love and how to love, courage, understanding and a fantastic song that goes with the story.
My next all time favourite will be the classic like Snow White and The Seven Drawves, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Plus also the Pixar productions like Finding Nemo and Monster Inc. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

The two that I like are Mulan and Beauty and the Beast. I also love The Great Mouse Setective. I'm really into Asian culture and history. Also, I love to sing and I love a good love story. Then I really like books and movies with mice which began with my liking for Brian Jacques' Redwall series. But for my top two choices, it's mainly because of the music, especially that of Beauty and the Beast. Music's a big weakness of mine, lol.

Disney movies = <333 /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />
<DisneyRambles> Beauty and the Beast is my favorite disney movie by far though. I've loved it ever since was a kid. The enchanted castle is awesome, Belle, and everything else. I love the music in it too.
My second favorite is Lion King. Just cause that movie rocks. The music is excellent as well.
And then my third choice is Peter Pan. I love all the versions of this. But my favorite one is newer, and isn't the cartoon one. It's very cool. Tinkerbell pwns *g*
Yeah it's funny how much I love disney movies, but seriously there is something so awesome about them. The music in all Disney movies make them the best. </Disney Rambles> *g*

I had to go with Beauty and the Beast. I love the music! My other favorite though, Robin Hood, wasn't on the list. My school did the Robin Hood play based on the movie last year and so I just like it a lot!

wow..i cant believe Mulan is winning! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> I would definetly think the classics would win (like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast). I'm actually quite puzzled... /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
anyway, I voted for The Little Mermaid, but I really do love them all. Especially The Lion King, 101 Dalmations, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Aladdin and Lady and the Tramp.
