Welcome to the Module 01 "Manifestations" thread! Write some kind of a Short Story or Poem that revolves around this month's Power ("Scroll-and-a-Half" / 150 words). Let those creative juices flow! In addition to submitting via e-mail, you are encouraged to post these publicly here. While this will not effect your points, it will encourage interactions by providing additional options for people to to connect on, particularly for those who take part in the "Mingling" portion of this month's exercises if they enjoy or relate to your work and choose to talk about something you've shared.

They say "You only live once" and it's true -
But knowing that, what should you do?
Does it mean that whenever you see
A chance or an opportunity...
That you need to ignore the risks you face
And towards the source of danger - race?
Is that what faith is all about:
Simply ignoring every doubt?
No, that's not it: when you sense fear
There's no need to turn a deaf ear.
It's telling you this might not be
The perfect opportunity...
But you could be better off to wait
For something that feels better - some later date.
And here, again, fate shows you the light:
"You'll feel it when the time is right."
But where will that leave you right now?
To wait calmly: this is done... how?
Well, at this moment you should stay safe
By listening to the Power of Faith.
You can make this wait feel good
By doing things that you gladly would
Enjoy at this very point in time
Even if, unlike this poem, they do not rhyme!

Amelia was just a kid when they told her what to believe, not knowing anything else she agreed and followed through for almost 20 years. She always thought that there was something else out there, something untold. But she had no one to talk to that didn't already believe what she was taught before. Faith, they said, have faith. Such a wide word and Amelia felt deep down that it meant so much more than what they led on. Faith, she thought, I have faith that there's something else out there calling my name.
Amelia felt alone for those 20 years until she heard the call. Deep in her dreams, someone reached out to her. This life is yours to live as you wish, and faith is what you should have, but faith in yourself, in your abilities, you've always had the power. It's never easy to go against the tide, against what everyone else believed, but what a joy it is when you beat the massive wave of fear, uncertainty, and hatred and see the beautiful Power of True Faith.
