Class Website: http://mugglestudies.org/hol

Anyone who might be confused about what to do, where to go, or who to ask can make their way here to find a little nudge in the right direction.

Other than of course replying to the post directly, you are more than welcome to contact me via private message on this forum or the main HOL website, or send a message to hiddenpowers[at]mugglestudies.org which is the class e-mail.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you're feeling even the slightest bit uncertain about how to proceed forward in any arena of HOL, whether it's Muggle Studies: Hidden Powers, another class, or something else entirely within the castle. Always happy to try and help or point in the right direction!

FAQ:

If I submit work on the forum, must I also via email?
Class members who post their work here on the forum are not also required to send via email. They may choose to for their own tracking/referencing purposes, or because they don’t wish to share all of their content publicly. So long as I have access to any prompts between the two locations, you should expect to see them show up in the Received Classwork thread and to be awarded points for them.

What deadlines are there?
The only deadline for getting your work in is end of term. This would be January 15th for Fall, then June 15th for Spring.

Am I allowed an extension on the final deadline?
A minimal grace period may be offered (with good reason) to anyone who reaches out in advance to discuss this as a possibility.

What happened to Role Play?
The “Mingling” section has been removed from MS:HP, at least for the foreseeable future. While I’ve had quite a lot fun with it these last couple years, it’s one extra and ongoing commitment each month to post and maintain. I’ve chosen to reprioritize that energy toward other responsibilities around the castle.

Do you need a Class Assistant?
Not at this time, thank you. In the past I’ve had an assistant to help fuel engagement over here on the forums. With the removal of the Role Play section, the primary purpose of this role is no longer required. Many thanks to all who have previously assisted this class: Emily Spencer, Silvana Mandeville, Carrie Warts, and February Fortescue. You are all such treasures.
