Dropping a Class

Dear Forum, dear Professor Lestrange,
Due to private reasons I can’t put the right effort into the Parseltongue class as I would.
I‘m sorry to ask this but can I drop a class?
I know it’s really close to the end of the term but I don’t have enough time to do it.
I will take this class again tho but just in the future.
