March Prompt: Dual Meaning

Winter is almost over! We're now in the month of March: a month which exists in the duality between winter and spring. Some would say we're already in spring; others would say it's still winter and spring is three weeks away - and still others would say we're finishing up summer (or starting fall)!

Likewise, the word "March" has a dual meaning as well: though the month always has the first letter capitalised, the word can also be a verb referring to a type of movement.

Your task this month is to write at least 75 words that reflect the theme of "duality" or "two different meanings". The constraint this month encourages long sentences: each sentence in your story must contain two instances of a word which has two different meanings - and these two instances should reflect different meanings!

For example: "Will will begin writing tomorrow." satisfies the constraint because the word "Will" is used to refer to a person's name and also to reflect the future tense.
