HOL

Hi everyone

I believe this is the right place to post the update but if it isn't, truly sorry for that.

Louis and I have disappeared from HOL in late October. We understand that this was unacceptable and we wanted to truly apologize for this.

The reason behind this is that precisely on October 15th, we have tragically lost our 7 year old son in an accident and it took a huge toll on us. It was very difficult for both of us to organize our lives again and with other personal aspects, such as unemployment as well as lawsuit and court hearings...it was just some very heavy time we had last year.

I understand that both of our HOL duties as well as assignments and activities were absent or missing and we sincerely apologize.

We are somewhat in a better place at this moment and we will try to move forward with all the HOL responsibilities.

Oh, Harry!!

My heart goes out to you both. Please know that my thoughts are with you; it's never ever easy to lose a child. No parent should have to go through that. You have nothing to apologize for; please take the time you both need to heal. HOL will be here for a long time (hopefully); you take care of you and each other.

I'm very sorry for you and yours. What Emily said, no parent should lose a child ... that is so extremely hard. And then everything else on top of that.

Thank you for the heads up of what was happening with you and Louis -- I had some concern because you had just poofed. But this is a terrible reason for 'why' you were gone. I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sending my love to y'all and your family. Like Emily said, no apologies needed for disappearing. HOL comes second to real life. Take your time in coming back even if its only a little bit at first.

that... that's... just... awful! I'd send snaky coils as appropriate/if you feel they'd help.
I feel like this has been a rough year for a lot of us, and for HOL as a whole, and I look forward to seeing you two back around the castle when ready (and if you're not ready, of course your out-of-castle "Muggle" responsibilities come first!)

Just... glad you two seem to be doing a bit better than you were!

My heart breaks for you both and your family. I'm glad to have you back, but please take whatever time you need for you and your family. HOL will always be a safe space for you to come back to when real life slows down. I can't even imagine that kind of pain, and I'm so sorry you're going through that.

I am so sorry to hear that. May God give you all the blessings you need and all good wishes for your son to be in a better place somewhere. I can't fathom the unimaginable pain but my heart goes out to you. I hope you are feeling a bit better than before and may God be with you.

I am so sorry to hear that the two of you have lost your child. It is something that should never have to happen to parents.

Unfortunately, there are no words that take your pain away or bring your son back. Just know that we are HOL hope the two are you are able to recover as best you can and will be here to help you as best we can.

I am so sorry for your loss, Harry (and Louis). I can't even begin to imagine the pain you two must be experiencing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
