Return of the Arcade

When I started out at HOL, the Slytherin Dungeons had an arcade built in where one could play Muggle video games. Sadly, the arcade was lost in the Great Dungeon Flood of 2015. Last summer, though, after three years without an arcade, my Head of House, Prof. Scarlet Leslie-Lewis talked about trying to bring it back. This proved challenging at first because the original arcade would not fit into the newly refurbished dungeons.

But eventually I came up with a solution: rebuild the arcade one game at a time - complete with a monthly competition featuring the newest game to be added. I wish we could say that we have rebuilt the arcade from "A" to "Z", but as of the end of this year we only have gotten from "A" (Arkanoid and Asteroids) to "G" (Galaga and Game Boy Tetris)!
