Class information Quills and Awards (requirements to pass)

Quills



You have the chance to earn two quills in this class. One quill per term/level. You must earn a total of 150 points out of the 300 per term to earn a quill. However, you must complete the following within that 150 points. ( To earn a quill)



Level One Requirements



(To earn a quill and automatically move into level two)

Midterm Exam

Class Discussions ( There will be 2 discussions, you must complete and take part in the first is in Lesson Two and second in Lesson Four as part of the quill requirement)

or

To pass Level One ( No Quill awarded) and continue into level two.


Complete at least 130 points and complete the two discussions, and attempt the midterm exam to move on to level two.



Level Two Requirements Spring Term


You must earn a total of 150 points out of the 300 per term to earn a quill. Within that 150 points you must complete the following:


Class Discussions ( There will be 2 discussions, you must complete and take part in the first is in Lesson Two and second in Lesson Four as part of the quill requirement)

Awards

These are the awards that you can earn in level one(fall term) and level two (spring term)


Level One Awards



Future Auror: Given to the top point earner for each house.

Dark Arts Extraordinaire: This award goes to students who have earned a perfect 300 points.

Distinction for Creativeness: Any student who is active in the class and forum throughout the term.


Level Two Awards



Dueling Master: Given to the top point earner for each house

Practical Magic: Given to the students who have shown great practical skills throughout the term

Eye for Spy: Given to the students who shined throughout the term.
