Theme: The Burrow - Spring, New Beginnings, Comfort
What are we looking for?
We are accepting submission ideas about any topic related to the theme, from magic, love, movies, fantastic creatures, places and travels, and food to books, celebrations, and cultures and traditions. You can present these topics in any form such as articles, interviews, short stories, narratives, reviews, poetry (at least 10 lines), puzzles, GIFs, as well as recipes.
We are specifically looking for submissions on:
- HOL events/updates/fun adventures: one slot open for all HOLers
- Gryffindor events/updates/fun adventures: slots for different topics open for Gryffindors
- Ravenclaw events/updates/fun adventures: slots for different topics open for Ravenclaws
- Slytherin events/updates/fun adventures: slots for different topics open for Slytherins

How to submit?
You can post your submission ideas here or send your ideas to wizardingtimes[at]gmail.com. All ideas must be approved. The deadline for the WT submissions is on March 8, 2021, 11:59 PM HOL time. Send your submissions to the email above. Make sure to include your HOL name and house in your email. Can’t wait to receive your creations!
Points!
You can earn a total of 50 house points (HP) every issue. For the points breakdown, please see below:
Articles/Poems: maximum of two articles/poems per person
For Articles:
- 10 HP for an article with 150-word minimum
- 15 HP for an article with 250-word minimum
- 10 HP for a poem with 20 or more lines
- 5 HP for a poem with less than 20 lines
Puzzles: maximum of two puzzles per person, 10 HP each
WT Challenges
It does not end there. You can earn 40 HP more by doing the challenges below. These are to be submitted separately.
Make your Own Recipe (10 HP)
In no less than 150 words, create your own recipe of the dish suggested by the issue. For this issue, we want you to create a recipe of a fruitcake. You can also share the picture of the finished dish, if you have any.
Capture your Magical Herb (10 HP)
Take a picture of the plant that reminds you of the magical herb assigned by the issue. For this issue, the assigned magical herb is mimbulus mimbletonia. With your image, write a short caption justifying why you chose the said plant.
Submit your Dilemmas (maximum of 10 HP)
In no less than 75 words, write to us your dilemmas and we’ll answer them for you. You can submit up to two dilemmas per issue. You can earn 5 HP per submitted dilemma.
Explain the Quotation (10 HP)
In a minimum of 150 words, share your thoughts, reflections, anything about the issue’s assigned quotation. For this issue, we have a quote by J. K. Rowling. “It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live."
