HOL

The Gold Spirit Award was begun several years ago as part of something known as HOL Appreciation Month. It’s designed to help motivate you to fulfil your personal goals for the school year, however big or small, whatever they might be. Anyone is welcome, be they student, post graduate or professor. Read the criteria below and then have a think about what you’d like to achieve for yourself this year. Once you’re done, post your goals as a reply to this thread and get to work on them. You may earn a shiny award at year’s end!

Criteria

• You must make at least 3 goals, though we’d like 4 or 5.
• They must be goals we can check and verify in some way. If you want to collect a certain amount of beans or the like, you’ll need to send me a screenshot of you having the right amount.
• One goal must be how many house points you’d like to earn (either overall or in particular classes)
• One goal must be related to classes (number of quills you want to earn, number of OWLs you want to complete, number of classes you want to teach/assist)
• You must achieve (or get very close) to at least 3 of your goals to qualify for an award

I have a few goals for this next year:

1. Earn 4000 or more points
2. Earn a quill in at least 5 classes through the year
3. Teach and create a class for next term
4. Write an article for at least one of the issues of the house newspapers available
5. Complete a reading challenge if offered

Goals? I have a fair few:


1. Earn 4000 points or more
2. Earn at least 8 quills during the year
3. Teach at least 2 classes during the year
4. Write at least 3 columns for SerpenTimes
5. Complete at least 4 Library Department writings

Goals, goals, goals!

1. Earn at least 4,000 points.
2. Earn all 10 quills.
3. Submit something for every house magazine.
4. Earn 300 points in at least 5 of my classes throughout the year.
5. Help run at least three activities.
6. Teach three classes each term.
7. Complete at least half of the library and art department activities.

Ooh goals are hard for me >.<

1. Earn at least 2000 points this year
2. Participate in at least one HOL activity and one Common Room activity for each month this year
3. Earn at least 8 quills
4. Get to a total of 20 awards this year (I have 11 right now)
5. Earn 300 points for at least 6 classes this year

I have quite a few goals this year:

1. Earn at least 10 quills.
2. Earn 300 points in 10 classes.
3. Earn at least 2000 house points.
4. Participate in at least 3 projects in the Art Department (if offered)
5. Participate in at least 3 projects for the Library Department (if offered).

My goals for the year is:

• To get enough quills to go up a year
• 300 points pr term from every course i take
• Using my full capacity for courses each term
• Learning how to use forums (for measurement, with 10 posts pr. month?)

4. Post at 3 least times per month in the forums
5. Earn 3 awards this year

Goals..goals...I have so many!
1. I want to earn at least 100 points overall!
2. I want to complete all of my homework from all 5 classes by the end of the year!
3. Be very active in all forums.
4. Give honest and helpful feedback in the Library for every single story I read.

My Goals!

1 - I'd like to earn at least 500 points over the year
2 - I'd like to get at least 4 quills from my classes
3 - I'd like to be active on the forums with at least 3 posts/responses per week
4 - I'd like to participate in at least 2 art department activity
5 - I'd like to participate in at least 1 library activity

1. Earn high marks on my assignments.
2. Earn up to 5 quills by end of 2019-2020 year.
3. Make three new HOL friends.
4. Be as helpful as I can be in my house.
5. Be more involved with HOL activities.

2. I want to contribute to each house newspaper at least once (either through writing or completing an activity.)
3. I want to submit at least two Drabbles to Alte over the year.
4. I want to win a seeking match for RQT.
5. I want to participate in 3 monthly book discussions in Book Club.
6. I want to earn at least 275 points in each of my classes.
7. I want to earn a quill for all 5 of my classes.

( And I should keep in my mind to be active in HOL without disturbing others a little bit )
