My name is (obviously) Crystal Key. I thought of my name from my favorite neaklace. On it (amoung other things) there is a key that is made of crystal. I found it in my room while I was grounded, so it really has no special meaning, but is very special to me all the same so I always wear the neaklace with the crystal key.

Kaliane came from a book I love; it's the title of the head witch and I thought it'd make a pretty name. Esmeray means "born of night" in Turkish, and since Kaliane is Turkish and was born at midnight, it fits. Sautir doesn't mean anything, I needed a last name that sounded vaguely Turkish and sounded good with the first name I'd chosen.

My chosen name in life is Kalanis. (kay-law-nus) It's a name I chose for myself and go by. Taylor just has a nice ring to it. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I thought I replied in this subject. I guess not /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Well, hazel in real life is the real color of my eyes and the other hazel is my favorite kind of plant. Kaprano is a mixed up version of my grandma's maiden name. And...tada! That's how Hazel Kaprano came to be!

Nessa is my name put through an Elvish translator..and I made up Valrach. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> I use the name on a lot of other sites, too. I wanted to be original, and come up with something different...but I'm known as Nessa everywhere, and I couldn't part with Valrach. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I chose my name based on my love of irish/celtic names. I just think that Ronan is an AWSOME celtic name and I just had to pic it. And my last name, Cavanagh, is just cool if ya ask me. and i think the combination of the names works well too! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Well my name is different, Lycan from the word Lycanthrope which means Werewolf, and I shortened it and it sounded cool, and Gawain from a Sir Gawain, a Knight of legend (The book Sir Gawain and the green Knight was only adapted by Tolkein, not made by him.) Well, that's it in a nutshell.

I have different online names, and Sonne Lindemann is the one I use for HP stuff most of the time. However, it doesn't have an HP-related origin. I just happen to love a German band- Rammstein. Sonne means Sun in German, and one of the band's song is called Sonne (one of my favorites). And then, the lead singer's name is Til Lindemann, so I just borrowed his surname. And that's the story everyone! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Well, it's a bit funny really. It all started when I read Unicorn of Balinor books as a child (I still am technically I child. Oh boy.....lol). The main character's companion, a unicorn was named (I believe, if I remember correctly) Sunchaser. Well, at that time (and even now if things could be different /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> ) my dad was into space- astronomy and the lot. Well, of course this passed onto me. So in my writings, I began referring to myself as Starchaser. Freshman year when I got obsessed with Tolkien and was studying the language of Quenya, one of his created elven languages, I asked the yahoo group Elfling (which at the time, processed such requests) what Starchaser would be when properly (key word properly) translated into Quenyan. After given a number of choices, I chose Elerronyar. A nice, impossible to pronounce and spell, nickname that I have lived with for four years. Such would be my magical name. Elerronyar, Lady of the night.
Morilinde is much more recent. It is supposedly the word for nightingale in Quenyan.....one of them anyway. Nightingale=music, and being a flutist and a singer, this was fitting. Has some childhood connections as well. However, this version of the word I believe is "darker"... I came to this conclusion because of the prefix "mor-", signifying "darkness". Mordor, Moria, etc.

My name... Well as usuall I go searching for names that are fairly acureate to the country and since my character is a halfblood (my mother was the witch but my parents divorced) I have a very British last name (Pritchard was like 10 in the 50 most common surnames in Britan) and I've always loved the name Olivia so I thought I would use it.

My name is actually a combination of my real life name and a character I had long ago on Ultima Online. Etheria (the character) was a sorceress on UO and the name was actually my own spin on 'etheral'. Angel is my real last name, so there you have it. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Not much about my name.
Kaida- I got Kaida from a fanfiction I read once. It was a Draco/Hermione fic in which they had a daughter. In the story Kaida means baby dragon in Latin. I tried to check that, but I never found anything on it and since I liked the name I picked it.
Rever- My friend Asumineya Mousas once wrote a fanfic and she gave me this last name. I don't know where she got it from though.
Hummm...both my names come from fanfics. I never really thought about that, oh well.

I love the name Lourdes. If I ever have a daughter, her name will be Lourdes. So I decided to make it my HOL name. I needed a last name that went well with it, and I like the name Rowan, so that's how I came up with the name Lourdes Rowan.

Well I watched the movie "Johnson Family Vacation" and the girl's name was Destiny and I liked it a lot. People can pronounce it if they read it but it isnt very common. For Travbelli, I just thought of it randomly hehe. For the middle name of Georgina, my mom's name is Georgia so I just made it into Georgina.

Well this is pretty simple. When I was signing up for HOL I was watching tv. I sat thinking for a few minutes of what my name should be then the tv said Chloe. I was like...Hey that sounds good. I always thought chloe was a good name. As for Masters...I think I was lookging at the head master position and just figured Masters was good...but then again I don't remember how I really got Masters. For all I know I could have been thinking about golf. I think I have ADD.
