This is my first post as well. I am glad to be part of this forum.
Euphoria: (you-FOR-ee-aah) It is expected that 'Eu' should sound like 'Eww', but in fact 'You' is the correct way to pronounce it.
Skeffington: (SKEF-ee-ng-tin) The last name is a bit easier to pronouce. The 'g' is hard.
I do hope that this year goes by smoothly. ^^

...bandwagon, you say? *Falls off it. Grumples and straightens, dusting off her robes.*
Ahn-ah-stah-see-ah, please - or Ana, if you prefer. I believe the Anglicized pronunciation is 'Ann-ah-stay-zha', but that's so...nasal and unpleasant-sounding.
And we all know how to pronounce 'Black' already, yes? *Haughty sniff. Grin.*

Well, I've already explained mine once, but mine is
Hail- rhymes with "Sal" or even "towel"
ey pronounced like an "e'.... rhymes with "be" "Shmee" "lee" "Tee" We"; etc.

Gryffindor Professor|HOL 101, An Introduction to Divination, and Advanced Divination
Spice Squad Captain|Paw Print EiC|Lions' Pride
my name's not too hard, but for those of you that it is:
forget Evalyn- too long, Evie works (rhymes with stevie)
and as for arasmiss
Ar (rhymes with star)
as (well the naughty word sounds just like it just add another "s" sorry for that)
miss (I hope you know this) /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
by the way, if you know the name "Evelyn" mine's spelled different, but it's the same, blame my heritage and parents for that one.

Ooo yay! Me next! Mine's none to difficult. At least I think so. It's my name. Aphelia Rochelle Starr.
Aphelia
A the sound the doctor tells you to make when s/he puts a stick on your tounge ("Just open your mouth and a 'ahh'")
phe same as "fee" or "bee" or "tree"
li pronounced "lee", rhymes with above
a exactly the same as the "a" above
This makes Ah-fee-lee-ah
Rochelle
Roch pronounced "rosh"
elle pronounced like the letter "L" (and for those of you who know French, it's obviously the same as "elle" meaning "she")
So... Rosh-L
Starr
Starr rhymes with "star". Go figure
All together Ah-fee-lee-ah Rosh-L Star
To save you all this trouble (lol) just call me Lei (pronounced "lee")
Goodness, that's too much work for one little name.

Ami Silentio.
Ami does not sound like Amy...it's pronounced more latin, so it's AH-mee.
And Silentio is sill-en-TEE-oh. Sill, like a window sill, en like in "hen".
AH-mee sill-en-TEE-oh
/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> Odd, but not too complicated.
