Throughout the Harry Potter books, we were able to see what a limited amount of characters saw in the Mirror of Erised. Others remained shrouded in mystery like Albus Dumbledore when he joked about seeing thick, woolen socks in the mirror. What most characters see in the mirror, however, is not discussed. It would be interesting to know what a few of these people would have seen like Fleur Delacour, Remus Lupin, or Bellatrix Lestrange to name a few.
What do you believe your favorite character would have seen in the Mirror of Erised? Are there any characters whose heart's desire was later released outside of the books? Are there any theories surrounding some characters like there is around what Dumbledore saw?

I haven't read about any theories on the reason why Professor Dumbledore see a pair of thick woolly socks but then I haven't looked for any because I assumed that he saw those because of he likes knitting patterns and maybe his desire was to knit himself a pair of woolly socks.

I think that Remus Lupin would have seen himself without his curse. What I would want to know is if that would change after his son was conceived.

I think Narcissa would see a world where she still had Andromeda and Bellatrix, I think she would she a world without the dark lord where her son got to grow up happy and loved without the threat of war, I think she would see Lucius by her side without the influences about blood-purity and they would be a happy couple who were so in love. After seeing this I think see would breakdown in tears and dreams of what could have been. This has also made me feel more emotional then i care to admit

I think Dumbledore would have had as his biggest regret the suffering and eventual death of Ariana. My guess is that he'd see his family in the Mirror, all safe, whole, and happy

Re: The Mirror of Erised
I do believe that what Bellatrix Lestrange would have seen in the Mirror of Erised is pretty similar to what happened in Cursed Child. She always yearned for Lord Voldemort's continuous respect and admiration, which she sometimes got and sometimes did not. I think she would have seen herself by his side, giving him a child or some such if that were possible.

...also a platonic soulmate and a hot mess of a human being.

Neville probably saw himself presented with some sort of award. Special services to the school, etc. Anything to make his grandmother proud of him.

I think that Dumbledore might have seen his family and wished for the ability to go back into time and spend more time with them. That was probably his biggest regret or mistake since Aberforth always blamed him for the death of Ariana. I've always felt that Albus might've felt guilty for that but had to shove it down in order to go and do what he did. he couldn't let that disturb him from his pursuits.
