Harry Potter series has undoubtedly gave us a lot of information. About the characters, the society, animals, rules of magic, and I could go on. However, there are times that these little pieces of information can bother us, either because they do not conform to the already established logic or because we did not expect them. I am not talking about plot holes and errors, such as The Trace, but things that perhaps make sense, yet we never believe they would occur.

For example, it bothers me that after the fall of Lord Voldemort, Harry would become an Auror. Throughout the books, and especially from the fifth book onward, we keep seeing how he is so sick of fighting and just want everything to end so that he could live a normal life. That is why I have trouble believing that he would take such a job. Sure, it fits him, but I do not think Harry has the will or disposition for it. I see him more as a teacher, something that he proved that he is very good at with Dumbledore's Army.

What normal or non-controversial part of the Harry Potter story and world-building bothers you the most?

The lack of healthy food and variety in the Great Hall. Don't get me wrong, I would adore stuffing my face with pies and cooked breakfasts but after a while I'd be crying out for a salad, a curry or a nice bowl of pasta. I'm hoping that Harry just doesn't get round to describing the healthier or more interesting dishes that the house elves serve up but every time I read the books (after my mouth finishes watering) I can't help but think that Hogwarts really needs a resident dietitian.

I've always thought Hogwarts, as well as the wizarding world, are badly in need of mental health professionals. Sure, there's the day to day stressors, but when you also include wars and fighting among the various beasts and beings, the world can wreck havoc on a person's sanity. I believe counseling should be made available to everyone.

I really think there should be more athletics options for students at Hogwarts. Yes, Quidditch is a unique, magical sport that we've never heard of before, but these kids are also human. They might like to participate in competitive soccer, cricket, swimming, or any number of other sports. The sports could either have magical enhancements placed on them, or you could have representation of students of magic engaging in regular muggle youth activities.

The most irritating thing for me is who the characters end up with in the end, especially Neville. I always thought Neville and Luna were perfect for each other because they were the ones in their houses who were slightly 'odd'. I have a hard time believing he married Hannah Abbott in the end as she just never seemed like the kind of person Neville would end up with.
