The City of Reality is one of Juster’s more obvious attempts to open our eyes to the way we think about life. Do you think fantasy and surrealism allow us to see social issues or limiting thought patterns for what they are by removing the context and taking them to the extreme? Do you appreciate authors trying to make points about society or do you think it gets in the way of a good story?
