Harry Potter, A Journey Through a History of Magic was published on October 20, 2017. Of course, we all found out about it ahead of time from different places, like Pottermore. Pottermore announcement. Fels wanted this book so much, and I wanted it and YES! let's share this awesomeness with the Badgers and why not share it with all of HOL! I think one of our greatest difficulties is that, while we started planning for the activity in September, to go live in November, we didn't get the book until October 20th. So we set up a schedule of things to do, and were able to prepare some of them with 'tantalizing tidbits' published ahead of the release date. Then we rushed like mad to make it as tidy as possible and announcing it here.
What were your experiences with our celebration? Some things you might mention -
- Did you like participating in discussions best or doing the tasks or both?
- Which task(s) were easiest for you -- and which were hardest?
- What new information did you learn from participating in this Activity?
- Do you want to go visit the museum if it opens near you?
