March – Wizard’s Chess

Wizard’s chess is a magical game identical to Muggle chess except with one difference. The pieces in wizard’s chess are alive and obey the commands given by the players. When a piece is taken, it is often removed in a violent manner by the attacking piece.
To celebrate this wizarding game, perhaps one of the most popular, make a new design of an existing chess piece (like some Muggle chess makers design their pieces after TV shows). Make sure to include the piece’s name and, if it represents something from the magical world, what it is. If graphics are not your forte, you can describe it in 75 words or more.
For 15 Hoots and 15 beans, post your chess piece (600x600 max) below by March 31st, 11:59 pm HOL time.
