Queerditch Marsh is, well, a marsh, located somewhere in Great Britain. It is famous as the site where the sport that eventually evolved into Quidditch was first played in 11th century. Gertie Keddle, who lived near the marsh wrote in her diary about how other magic folk had been playing a new broomstick game with a leather ball, flying rocks and trying to score points by throwing the ball into the trees at the end of the marsh.

You job for this task is to write a Quidditch commentary in 150 words or more. It can be about any 'real' (HP or HOL canon) or completely made up Quidditch match. Please be respectful and abide by all HOL rules.

For 20 Hoots and beans, post your commentary as a reply to this thread by January 31st, 11:59 pm HOL time.
