October – Magizoologist

Magizoologists, also known as wizarding naturalists, study creatures that inhabit the magical world. Wizards and witches can be general magizoologists or they can specialize in a certain type of magical creature. One of such instances are dragonologists, who study dragons.
Perhaps the most famous magizoologist is Newt Scamander, whose book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is still used as a textbook in Care of Magical Creatures. His legacy is continued by his grandson, Rolf Scamander and his wife, Luna Lovegood.
