House Cup Standings
As of 11:59 PM HOL on November 30, 2019, the House Cup standings are as below. We're entering into the home stretch of the term, though, so things can change as people complete their fall term classes!
House News
Below are the exciting things planned in each House for December! As always, remember that each House's common room must be signed up separately from the main HOL forums. You can sign up for every House's forum, not just your own! A few of the other Houses' secrets may be hidden from you, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun there!
Gryffindor
Gryffindor will be hosting an activity for December themed on the Muggle classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! If you do well enough, you may even become Willy Wonka's heir.
Meanwhile, the Paw Print's deadline is December 22; the theme this time will be "cosy"!
Slytherin
Slytherin will be preparing for a Silver Snake Exchange where everyone is invited to come with a gift for an HOLer to be named later! Past years' gifts have included beans, puzzles, and artistic creations.
The next Serpentimes deadline is January 15; the theme this time will be Reflections!
Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw is running an activity which starts very soon, on December 2! It will be called SOS ("Sinister Order of Snowmen"); everyone is invited to help out with determining what is going on with the snowmen!
As always, everyone is invited to express their opinions in the Debate Club! And stay tuned for the next issue of the Alte Sententiam (Ravenclaw's newspaper)!
Hufflepuff
Hufflepuff is running a December event called A Hogwarts Christmas Celebration! Regardless of your house or thoughts about Christmas there should be fun things for you there.
As always, you can visit the Games Tent for new opportunities to earn Diamonds!
News From Around HOL
Check out the HOL Calendar to see what's going on in the school as a whole. If you have questions about when Term begins and ends, when Quidditch starts or other items of general interest, that is a source of information to be aware of.
Book Club
In December, Book Club will be continuing with World-Building, Flash Fiction, and Book Trivia.
Just like in past months, people are encouraged to contribute to Ink Splatters and Quill and Ink!
HOLLERS
As always, in each new month, we post 3 new puzzles in our Monthly Challenges. Check out the Creative Outlet section of the HOLLERS Forum, for both Writing Under Constraint and different options for you to be creative!

HOL Departments
The Art Department does not have any active Projects at the moment, but stay tuned for the next ones!
The two most recent projects from Library Department: I Wish and Coming Soon - are now open for voting! Stay tuned for the next projects to contribute as well!
Quidditch - We've had two games played by four Houses so far this season and have survivors to continue playing Quidditch in December. If you take a look at our Quidditch Schedule, you can see that there are two games scheduled -- one on December 7th with Gryffindor and Ravenclaw playing and one on December 14th, with Slytherin and Hufflepuff playing.
Quidditch Pick-ups also continue in December; the next pickup is soon (December 8 at 10:30 PM HOL) but check out this thread to find out when the next Pickups takes place and learn what happened in other ones.
