~ ~ Welcome to Spring 2019 Term ~ ~
In addition to the Quest that Gryffindor provides (in February it is to ancient Egypt!), they will have an event where people get to solve a mystery, interact with non-playable characters to obtain clues (and figure them out) and find out what happened with their Fat Lady! All of HOL is invited to the mystery. I am reminded that Rubies will be reset for the Spring Term so gather up a new batch of them while playing in Gryffindor.
A new issue of Serpentimes just came out and it has lots of great articles to see & read, plus many puzzles to earn beans! They are now accepting submissions for the March 15 deadline, theme: kaleidoscope.
In lieu of their Traditional Slythmas, they wanted to fill the January/February void instead! Their Winter Fling event runs through the end of February, is open to all, and you can join at any time! In Read-Along they are working through book 5 and just finished up Chapter 22: St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries! Two creative tasks and new trivia are posted every week. They've also got the Puzzle Exchange and Gobstones Club where you can enjoy different things to do and earn Scales at the same time. Again, open to all, join any time!
Ravenclaw continues with their debate questions and folks from all Houses are welcome to come give their opinions. You can find it here - Debate Club. There will be an activity just for Eagles in February -- Harry Potter Book Night.
Visit the Games Tent -- aka DoHGaS (Huffle Department of Games and Sports) and see what new opportunities to earn Diamonds are there for you! Hufflepuff will also be hosting a all-HOL activity - Lovely Little Valentines - which will be held February 3rd to the 28th. Come play in the Sett!
Remember -- every common room must be signed up for separately from the main HOL Forums. While you only have full access to your own House's forums, you can join every common room, and participate in the activities therein to which you do have access!
