Scenes from a Story

Post by Prof. Maxim Trevelyan »

A saying goes that a picture can tell a thousand words. One of the most frequent tips for writers is to show, not tell.

This is your opportunity to bring to life your favorite scene from a book you've read. Or, if you are a prolific author, paint a scene from one of your stories (especially if you're participating in HolWriMo!).

Through the use of any medium (paint, pencil, photoshop,...) depict a scene and if it's not immediately obvious where it's from, describe the source in a sentence or two.

Submissions must be of your own creation (or source parts that aren't yours), with maximum 600x600 dimensions and all general HOL rules apply.

You have time until the end of the school year!
