The Book Club focuses on "Memoirs and Memory" in May.
Between the Pages poses this question to you: When you read, or hear, the phrase 'Photographs and Memories', what comes to mind? Do you think of books you have read, movies you have seen, movies made from books you have read? Are there any particular passages that you remember from reading a book, where you had like a 'snapshot' of a scene, reading the book, which you have retained in your memory as something noteworthy (for whatever reason)?
You may describe it, or you may post a graphic of this 'memory'. The graphic does not have to be original, but be sure to give credit to whoever created it.
Your write-up needs to be at least 200 words to count towards Beans (and any possible award)! If you post a graphic, please keep it to 600x600 or smaller, and write a brief description underneath what the graphic depicts.
You will receive 20 Beans when you post. Any replies in here, through the school year, will be credited towards a possible award. As always, please keep to HOL appropriate sources for your post.
There is no deadline as such for these prompts but if you’d like it to count towards your chance of earning the award for a specific year, we’ll need it by the end of that school year. If you’re comfortable sharing, then post below. If not, email your story to us via hol.bookclub @ gmail.com (without the spaces).
Remember to click preview before posting to look for spelling and grammatical errors -- or see if auto-correct changed what you wanted to write to something entirely else!

Re: May Prompt: Photographs and Memories
I watched the people. They really liked the fireworks. I had no idea why there were fireworks. Then they splashed each other. Then they sang a little song. Then a little girl came and sat next to me so I gave her a hug. Then I fell asleep hugging the little girl. It was a memory for me because I was with a lot of happy people.

Re: May Prompt: Photographs and Memories
Looking at these books again makes me reminisce about the old days when I was still in elementary school xD. I visited my grandparent one day and found them on a bookshelf, I remember I took them all and read them The books were written in English and I read them as if I understood what's written inside, but the truth is I only looked for the pictures.
