Do you guys read poetry books? A great writer is Shel Silverstein. This post is actually specifically about one of his books, "Where the Sidewalk Ends". It is a fantastic collection of poetry that always makes me laugh. Shell Silversteins style is just very hapy and funny. I find that most of the time poetry is kind of sad or requires some thought, and while this can be nice, I enjoy just the funny , care free aspect of his writing. Do you prefer poems that make you think or are just light? One of my favorite poems in that book is Sick. Have you read "Where the Sidewalk Ends"? If so what is your favorite poem in there? Do you guys have any other poetry that you like to read? What kind of poetry do you enjoy?
