Synopsis:

As Gisbourne closes in and puts innocent lives at risk, Scarlet must decide how much the people of Nottingham mean to her, especially John Little, a flirtatious fellow outlaw, and Robin, whose quick smiles have the rare power to unsettle her. There is real honor among these thieves and so much more - making this a fight worth dying for.

Comments + opinion:
This book had me in a chokehold. It is a retelling of one of my all-time favourite fairytale, with a delightful twist. The plot, though somewhat obvious, takes an unexpected turn at the end that left me genuinely shocked. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, reeling you in with its charm and narrative. Overall, a lovely read that could make you cry and kept me hooked from start to finish. So much so that I named myself after it!
