Book Review-Mr. Lemoncello’s Library Olympics

Post by Avery Hill »

Title of the book: Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics
Authors: Chris Grabenstein
Series: Mr. Lemoncello’s Library
Genres: Children’s Literature, fiction, mystery
Short summary of the story: This is the second book of the Mr. Lemoncello’s Library series. Lemoncello, librarian extraordinaire, has invited teams from across the United States to compete in the first-ever Library Olympics after floods of messages arrive that kids across the country are upset that they hadn't the chance to compete in the first game.
Good points / bad points: I really like this book because it’s like a huge mystery except no one died. The characters solve clues in a big race to be the winner but at the end, everyone chooses to unite and solve the bigger mystery and uncover the truth instead of just winning. They also saved the library and Mr. Lemoncello’s reputation.
