Short summary of the story:
Harry is a shy young boy who is a wizard. When his mother sends him to Wizard's Hall he is renamed Thornmallow. He quickly learns that he is one of 113 students who are being prepared to confront the evil wizard Nettle and his huge Beast.
Good points / bad points:
The book is very similar to Harry Potter, so it can be assumed that J.K. Rowling taken some inspiration from this book. Yolen claims the similarities in the books are coincidental. I loved the book despite everything and I am definitely a huge fan of Yolen!
