Title: I Survived the Eruption of Mount St. Helens
Author: Lauren Tarshis
Genre: Historical Fiction

This book is another book of the I Survived series. It’s from an eleven year old girls perspective of one of the most explosive volcanic eruptions in history. Jess and her friends Sam and Eddie are hiking on one of the trails at the bottom of Mount St. Helens looks for Jess’s dads camera that she left there, when suddenly there was a huge blast and the world went dark. It’s another easy read for people who just want to have a nice chill day of reading!
8.5/10
I read another I Survived book before this one and I thought this one had more detail and was a little more interesting. But that could be because this disaster I have never heard of before and had no idea what happened. So this disaster is a definitely a less known one, but a very amazing book and you can learn a lot!
